ジェームス @poislayer.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Perhaps my mom is right and it is in God's plan to shit on my pc and delete 13 weeks of work so that I could experience 蜘蛛巣城(Throne of Blood) on the big screen. 020

ジェームス @poislayer.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Depression is weird, couldn't do anything other than rot in my chair but after one afternoon/evening nap I feel perfectly fine again. On top of that, I reached UCOB enrage so now I'm even feeling giddy. 000

ジェームス @poislayer.bsky.social · 28/07/2026This is an absolutely horrible thought but sometimes I wish I have gotten a visible physical disability that hinders my daily life instead of panic attacks and anxiety disorder. ジェームス @poislayer.bsky.social · 25/07/2026My conspiracy theory of Linda Linda Linda being the main inspiration of K-ON! and in turn the entire slice-of-life genre grows everytime I revisit this movie. Peak Cinema. 010

ジェームス @poislayer.bsky.social · 19/07/2026GO (2001) An uncomfortable but ultimately uplifting story following a zainichi teen facing discrimination in the late 90s Japan. A story about forging one's identity separate from the labels given by society. The first 3 quaters of the movie made me feel sick and I'm glad it has a happy ending. 100
ジェームス @poislayer.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Sunset Sunrise (2024) is what you get from weaving together the scars of 2011 tohoku disaster, covid, rural depopulation and one tokyo salaryman who really, really loves fishing. I have mixed feelings on the ending but the people and town of Umehara in this film feel so alive. 130

ジェームス @poislayer.bsky.social · 23/04/2026I'm so fucking back. Multiple deadline extensions, a supervisor who actually understands my anxiety/depression and help treat it as a disability.
