Practice Notes #008 I’ve been wanting to learn this one for a while. Today I decided to put my ears to the test. One part clicked. The other didn’t. Still listening. #PracticeNotes #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

I needed the quiet. A couple days away gave space to breathe, reset, and be present. Now I’m ready to get back to the work. No rushing. No catching up. Just building. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

The work didn’t stop. It just looked different. The laptop wasn’t available, so I found other ways to keep building. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

The setback stayed. So did my discipline. The laptop is still away. Life isn’t. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

Producer Notes #007 The laptop is still in the shop. So I found another way to create. This week reminded me that growth doesn’t have to stop just because the circumstances change. Splice mobile app with the assist. #ProducerNotes #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

Laptop is back at the shop. I’m still here. This past week reminded me that the tools may change, but the work continues. Still have to show up. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

I can’t negotiate with the things I say matter. This past week reminded me that if it matters, I have to show up. Discipline has to become the standard. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

Producer Notes #006 Every lesson makes me a better producer. This past week reminded me that producing isn’t confined to the studio. It’s found anywhere music is being shaped, even in the classroom. #ProducerNotes #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

This past week reminded me that some journeys don't require a new beginning. They simply ask us to return. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

Producer Notes #005 It's easy to appreciate something after it's gone. The harder work is appreciating it while it's here. This season reminded me that gratitude isn't practiced after loss. It's practiced before it. #ProducerNotes #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

Practice Notes #005 Just listening. One phrase at a time. Practicing isn’t only about what happens at the piano. Sometimes the work begins before your fingers ever touch the keys. Train your ears before asking your fingers to respond. #PracticeNotes #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

For 55 days, my laptop was gone. The waiting taught me something I didn't expect: patience became part of the work. This chapter wasn't about getting my laptop back. It was about becoming the kind of man who keeps creating, even when a tool is gone. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

This past week reminded me that patience isn’t time being wasted. It’s time being invested. Some chapters take longer to write because they have more to teach. I’m learning to trust the process. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

Producer Notes #004 Creating isn’t always about making more. Sometimes the next decision becomes clear after we stop long enough to listen. Silence has something to teach us too. #ProducerNotes #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

Practice Notes #004 This week reminded me that progress isn’t always about moving faster. Sometimes you have to slow down long enough to work through what once felt impossible. The piano didn’t change. I did. #PracticeNotes #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

As artists, we often wait for the perfect setup. The perfect camera. The perfect keyboard. The perfect software. But every creative journey starts the same way: with a blank page. Creativity belongs to us, not our tools. Start with what you have. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

I've realized that growth usually doesn't happen during the exciting moments. It happens during the quiet ones. Most of my time isn't always spent creating music. Some times it's spent listening. Taking notes. Practicing. Making small adjustments. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

One of the hardest lessons for an artist is learning to trust yourself. Stop asking, “Will people like this?” Start asking, “Does this honestly represent what I’m trying to say?” That’s where growth begins. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup

I’ve been thinking a lot about restraint lately. As producers, we have access to thousands of sounds. The challenge isn’t finding something to add. It’s knowing when the music has enough. I’m learning that space can be just as emotional as another instrument. #SoulCre8ive #YupYup
