I think we actually live in the worst times for Star Wars fan culture. Hate has been commodified so now every headline, every article, every video has to come with an angle of disappointment. Even those of us who love Star Wars begin to feel like it is failing in some way. It’s fucking exhausting.

I think Rise is my favorite because, IMO, it’s Rey’s best movie. 🤔

I know cartoonish evil people exist in the real world, so i hope, somewhere, there's cartoonish good people too, i never met someone like that in real life, but i really hope they exist

It’s been pointed out before, but it’s really cool how JJ took the line “murderous snake” from TLJ and made some great symbolism in Rise.

I also like the snake symbolism in reference to Kylo/Ben Solo. The snake doesn't just represent evil and in this scene the snake isn't evil just wounded. But it's also a symbol of renewal/rebirth like a snake shedding it's skin. 🦋

I’m trying to be more positive about my interests. I want to talk about what I love and simply ignore the things that I don’t care much for. My mental health suffers tremendously when I get too involved in the nonsense

Since it's #DigitalRallyForBenSolo Day! I wanted to make a thread about the blue butterfly, what it symbolizes and why it became a symbol for Ben Solo. 🦋🧵 #TheHuntForBenSolo

The fact that Filoni has really gone out of his way ever since the timeline of Disney shutting it down to "kill" characters just to show how they could be revived in practically everything + fleshing out the wbw even more just has me like

Read in public. Read in private. Read e-books, genre books, comics, fanfiction. Read literature. Read nonfiction. Read books you’ve already read. Listen to audiobooks. Read what you want. There’s no such thing as “doing reading the wrong way.”
