A new analysis of the funding landscape behind campus dialogue initiatives bolsters arguments that they are at least partially linked to a conservative project. Uncivil, a consortium of scholars snd researchers of which Moreton is a member, found that 20 out of the 23 foundations most active in the pluralism and depolarization space also fund conservative policy networks or pro-Israel organizations.

Among the main donors to civility initiatives, the researchers found, several also contributed to rightwing organizations like the Manhattan Institute, the Federalist Society, and the Heritage Foundation, as well as pro-Israel ones like the Anti-Defamation League, itrek (formerly known as Israel & Co) and the Central Fund of Israel. The Koch brothers' foundations, which for years have sponsored efforts to push campuses to the right, have also been pivotal to the civility industry's growth.

Because they are *literally* the "Ayn Rand and Orcs" crowd. Also, because Thiel, and many of the other Techbroligarchs from the Paypal Mafia grew up wealthy, with parents in tge mining industry, in Apartheid-era South Africa. So they have no concept of *actual* "welfare" programs.
The picture is a quote from John Rogers' "Kung Fu Monkey" blog.

It is a post titled, "Ephemera" from March 19, 2009.

The quote says, "There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.

The other, of course, involves orcs."

Naaaaah, it's a Consultant Class that's taken the "politics job" equivalent of Pharmacy Benefit Managers! You know-cutting backroom deals with the folks who can give'em money, while screwing over the "little guys" those Insurance plans (or Voters, for Political Parties!) are supposed to help!
Text from image;

According to the 2002 book How to Hack a Party Line: The Democrats and Silicon Valley, Rosenberg and NDN were instrumental in shifting control of the Democratic Party away
from labor unions and toward Silicon Valley businesses. Rosenberg said in 1999, "Our problem as a party is that the biggest source of our venture capital now comes from labor, which is a group that's becoming less and less important, and representing less and less of a percentage of American voters.... We have to replace labor's investment in the party with investment from another source, and hopefully from a source that's growing."

Naaaah, he's just listening to his Consultants--like Simon here: The thread gets SUUUUPER messy, but it does a solid example of the way the D's Consultant class act a LOT like Pharmacy Benefit Managers-cutting "Deals" for the Insurance Co's/Party, while screwing the folks who need & pay for help.

When Dem Consultants like Simon are actively calling regular Minnesotans out, for pointing out that he's not talking about the MN Occupation *and* calling us "bots"--as he's taken money from the very Techbroligarchs involved in the Occupation, though? bsky.app/profile/reed...

It begins to make a LOT more sense, when you see this little meltdown that occurred over the weekend, and know that the Consultant in the middle pushed the D's toward getting their funding from the Techbroligarchs rather than labor unions in the early 00's! bsky.app/profile/reed...

We even have a flag!😉
An aqua background on which a dark blue loon with the MN state flag star on its chest & a red laser shooting from its eyes has the has the snake from the Don't Tread On Me flag in its beak. The snake's head is on the ground, having been lasered off by this awesome loon (the state bird of MN). The loon's wings are raised in triumph. Underneath the image is text that reads "Don't Tread On Us."

This is a variation of one of the cult favorite designs for the updated MN flag, of a loon with laser eyes. This is essentially the MN version of the Gadsden Flag.

But have you seen our Laser Loon?🤔🤨 Gadsden-the one who created the original Gadsden flag was a slaver. This one cleans that up😉

Pulverized, melting, and salted off the face of the Earth is a bit more how I'm feeling, after last night's shooting! Thank goodness the man made it home, and wasn't killed! (Also, not a man, just a girl from Gen-X who can't get out of the habit of calling *everyone* "Dude"!😉)

The illustration is similar in style to the "Morton Salt Girl," created in a 2-color manner (Dark navy-ish blue, and white. With the background light blue, it makes a 3-color illustration)

Jearica Fountain's illustration in that style has a light blue-grey background.

On that background, starting at the top and working downward,

The Dakota word "Mni Sota Makoce" is across the top, in large white font, dropshawdowed with dark blue.

Underneath Mni Sota Makoce in much smaller font is the English translation, "Minnesota"

In the center of the illustration, to the viewer's left side is the recreation of "The Morton Salt Girl," illustrated "Dakota Style"

The girl is walking, head looking down, carrying an Umbrella in her right hand that leans over her shoulder, and tucked under her left arm, is an open round container of salt, which is leaking, because the spout is open.

The girl is wearing a ribbon skirt, and a blouse with zigzag stripes, in the style of Traditional Dakota clothing.

The Umbrella over her head protects her from rain, and has a Traditional Dakota beadwork-type pattern on the "outside".

The girl leaves a train of salt on the ground as she walks.

She is wearing flat, slipper style shoes, which have a single strap over the arch of her foot, and her right foot is creating a small "splash" of water as she steps.

Under her right foot, is the name of the artist, "Jearica" in uppercase font (all writing on the illustration is Uppercase Font)

Behind her are a sign that says, "Ice Out" and a pile of 3 ice cubes which are melting & dripping.

Underneath the illustration, at the bottom of the page, are the words "Knows how to handle ICE"

The words are written in white font.

The "O" of the word "to" is a monocolor navy blue illustration ofcthe state of Minnesota (the same shade of Navy Blue used elsewhere in the illustration & drop shadow).

Yup! We're not backing down. We're doubling our resolve.
2026 "Minnesota Invasion" version of Minnesota's "Laser Loon" flag.

The background of the flag is a solid light, bright, "sky blue" color.

On that background, is an image in the style of a "Gadsden Flag" with a patch of green "grass" at the bottom, over the words, "Don't Tread on Me"

Standing on that grass, is the Laser Loon.

The Laser loon has it's wings raised up into the air, creating a "laurel wreath", on either side of it's head.

The loon's eye is projecting a red Laser beam upward.

The Loon is holding the body of a yellow & black rattlesnake in the air, using it's beak.

The head of the rattlesnake is on the "ground" by the Laser Loon's feet, having been cut off by the Laser Beam from Laser Loon's eye.

They ABSOLUTELY were sturdier back then, than the jeans made now! These are tags I JUST took pictures of, from Levi's jeans I currently own. The vintage pair (the last tag--style 514) is from the early 2000's, and they are made of 100% cotton.
Cebter back "style tag" from Levi's jeans purchased in January 2022.

The tag is made of a beige woven cotton-like tape, and has red lettering indicating the style number and size, which say, "505 Straight" and 12 (the size).Secondary manufacturing tag from the inside of Levi's 505 Straight-leg jeans, purchased in January of 2022

This tag shows the fiber content of the jeans.

Fiber content is as follows:

23% Viscose
16% Polyester

We are AT the point, where we NEED to "Speak Out" y'all! Because THIS was the "They Came For" that Niemöller was referring to, that LEADS to Genocide!!! And we DO know, and--as Sinclair Lewis also reminded us, with his character Buzz Windrip, It CAN Happen here--and it IS happening y'all! Links;
The poem "First They Came For," by Martin Niemöller.

The picture is a screenshot, from the Amnesty International website's "Poems" page of Niemöller's poem.

The poem states the following:

First They Came

By Martin Niemöller

First they came for the Communists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they can for the Jews

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me

And there was no one left

To speak out for me

I was always partial to this one, myself!😉😂🤣
Image of yellow rectangle representing a cartoon "Gadsden Flag."

The image on the flag is a cartoonish illustration of a "baby snake with large "kid-friendly" eyes. The eyes also have eyelashes to make them look more innocent.

The baby snake is outlined in black, it's background color is the same shade of yellow as the flag, and it has 13 spots which are a light yellow-orange in color.

The baby snake has 4 curling "hairs" coming off the top/center of it's head, to make it appear "child-like" or "muppet-like."

The snake also has a small, red, forked tongue hanging loosely out of it's mouth, similar to the way a "relaxed puppy dog" is often illustrated or depicted.

There are bold, solid black "cartoonish" font words across the bottom of the flag, underneath the snake illustration. The words are a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters.

The words say, "Pwease no steppy!" In other words, "Please no steppy," in a childlike "tone" of writing.

The letters P, W, A, and S of "Pwease" and S, T, P, P, and Y of "Steppy" are capitalized. The other letters are in lowercase of the same bold solid black font
