they definitely asked some generative AI to make a "modern sleek new logo"

A zoomed in version of the image OP is replying to. The person's right arm would have to be contorting in a weird way for the saber to be pointing downward the way it has.

i'm in the place where that one kpop group filmed that one video

The OP taking a selfie with its head out of the picture. It's holding up a peace sign and wearing a shirt that says "THIS IS FOR", in reference to the Twice album and world tour.

The OP is in Vancouver, btw. It's the place where Twice filmed the music video for their 2017 song LIKEY.

Currently there is dialogue from Mikey on screen, saying "You got chutzpah. I bet by your 6th or 7th attempt you'll have worked your way up there."

it has now been mentioned in a discord article support.discord.com/hc/en-us/art...

An excerpt from the linked article. It reads:

Important: If you're located in the UK, you may be part of an experiment where your information will be processed by an age-assurance vendor, Persona. The information you submit will be temporarily stored for up to 7 days, then deleted. For ID document verification, all details are blurred except your photo and date of birth, so only what's truly needed for age verification is used.

discord's @time desktop shortcut is localized and will (probably only) parse relative time in the language you set your client to, which i find pretty neat for language learning

A screenshot of the @time shortcut (type a relative/absolute time, get a timestamp that is localized to the user's timezone) in a Japanese Discord client. The relative time inputted roughly translates to "tomorrow, 06:07", and there are options to display the time (2026-01-20 06:07am) in different formats.

iOS 26 is cool and all but also why is it translating my kpop lyrics to japanese and not the system language

A screenshot of Apple Music's lyrics view in iOS 26, showing me listening to View by SHINEE, specifically the end of the first chorus. It shows the original Korean lyrics, the English pronunciation/romanization, and the Japanese translation.
