I also want to bring up that fact that standards are lot higher now so whenever people see old models, old maps, basically anything Source related or it's stylized, it's often seen as low quality.

Why yes it is. I place a white background model behind the model, typed mat_fullbright 2, export render, place a really dark shadow (constantattenuation, and turn up intensity to max), export render, and use any editing program (I used Krita). There should be a guide about this on Steam.

This has go to be the most reckless way to implement age verification alongside YouTube. What is Discord even doing? Wouldn't be surprised if they shared the same room with YouTube and Roblox given how similar their mindset is. I know there is Root but I'm not sure if I should move there or not.

As for the brown background, you could've used a different wall as a background. I honestly would suggest the wall/floor pack from Zombiller or Studio Backdrop from jdbeatz in SFM workshop. Wall/Floor has multiple backgrounds and Backdrop is a gray wallpaper, which makes lighting easier.

Oh boy, this is going to be difficult to explain without me showing you. For anime models, I just create 1 bright key light and 3 to 4 colored shadow lights (low intensity btw). This is also harder without editing like color correction because that would've fixed the too bright or dark problem.

Feels like every year is the worst year for artist. Especially for people making a living out of commissions. I feel they learned nothing from Tumblr. By 2077, the only way to access or post adult content is either the dark web or one of those private, underground sites.
