A week ago I got Aseprite and tried to draw a big bonfire for my title screen. It turned out better than I imagined! Also no, the hack is not done yet.

I got an idea and made a new level for the first time in 3 months. So much fun making something new. What will I do with this level? No idea.

Happy to announce that Sauna Mario World 2 1.1 is finally uploaded to the waiting hacks section! The changelog is comically long, I tried my best to make sure 1.2 won't be needed. Thanks to all players!

Now that I don’t have a romhack in progress to pour endless hours into, I’ve actually played some new games. Beat Spelunky today. It’s amazing how careful you have to move in that game. Very fun once you learn to dodge stuff.

I actually started using library services this year and read more than ever before. I’m also about to finish two books that add up to about 1000 pages, so that’s like 10 pages a day on average!

These castle walls are a nightmare to set up right, and some corner tiles still don't make sense. Does the custom extended tileset on SMWC make it better?

If anyone wants a smoother version of Sauna 2, feel free to DM me on Discord and I'll send you the latest patch. I've been fixing a bunch of things but I also want to delay the actual release of 1.1 as much as possible for the sanity of SMWC moderators.

Hey friends! I'm a bit of a lurker in the SMW community so I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a Finnish guy who got into playing hacks in 2020 and pretty quickly started tinkering with Lunar Magic. Almost two years later my first hack, Sauna Mario World, was ready. I was overjoyed by the reception.
