Quadcopter at 15 metres or plane at 11 km? In the Danish military’s new report on last year’s shooting incident, a “fast drone” was seen flying S to N. Judging distance to lights in the night sky is difficult, and soldiers may have mistaken an Atlas Air aircraft cruising at 980 km/h for a drone.

After a week of mysterious maneuvers off the Danish coast, the Russian tug Sarmat now appears to be leaving the area. Another Russian tug, Ajax, has joined it, and both vessels are currently indicating Murmansk as their destination.

The Russian tugboat Sarmat appears to be towing a large object while conducting unusual back-and-forth movements off the Danish coast. A Copernicus Sentinel-1 image captured at 05:31 UTC on Monday shows Sarmat and the object forming a unit about 380 meters long.

Russian tugboat Sarmat (IMO: 8027133) is repeatedly sailing between Jutland and the Danish island of Læsø. It came from the Black Sea earlier this year and previously displayed a similar pattern off Gotland. Does anyone have an idea about what it's up to?

The plane is seen here. It was going at 37000 feet. But at 40 kilometers away it was pretty low on the horizon and going from south to north witch is also indicated in some of the documents from the Danish MoD.

DRONES OVER DENMARK: Exact timing confirmed for 43 rounds fired at a suspected drone over Borris on Sept 28 2025, 20:15-20:20. Data shows Air Alsie OY‑CKK flying low with landing lights at that moment, 60 km away at 3000 ft. It may have been overlooked bc of distance. Danish Defence won’t comment.

It left Arkhangelsk, Russia, Aug 3 and did not send AIS signals for 39 days, reappeared in Arkhangelsk on Sept 11, then headed directly for Denmark & the Baltic. Where was it?

DRONES OVER COPENHAGEN: The Norwegian ship Oslo Carrier 3, positioned just off Copenhagen Airport during the drone incident, has Russian crew members on board, the owner Oslo Bulk confirms. The company says they’ve contacted the ship, which denies having any drones on board.
