PMM Development Update IMPORTANT

The upcoming Mini Boss JaneDoe update will be the final update for PMM. After that, I’ll be starting work on the PMM Recode Version.

The core gameplay will remain the same, but I’ll be rebuilding the game and making it feel much more like a Roguelike.

PMM was originally created while I was still learning Lua and Roblox Studio, and now I want to use the skills and experience I’ve gained to rebuild the entire game from the ground up.

And don’t worry — player data, skins and rewards from the upcoming Thumbnail Contest, along with other important things, will all be carried over to the Recode Version.

As a solo developer, it’s really difficult for me to work on the Recode while also maintaining and fixing the current version of the game. I think it would be much better to focus on building the new version from the ground up instead.

I also need some time to manage my responsibilities, including finishing university, dealing with hospital appointments, and taking care of work and other things in my real life.

We now have another dedicated Artist working on the game, @babii_num !

Actually, she has been voluntarily helping out behind the scenes with the game since last year. So today, we officially announced that she is now part of our development team.

However, the game is still essentially a solo-developed project, with me handling almost everything myself — VFX, animation, modeling, and scripting. (I can't draw)

As for scripting, I’m still not ready to bring anyone else onto the team. Last year, I almost got scammed by a scripter I hired, who ended up stealing the game files and attempting to sell them.

That’s also one of the reasons why many things have been moving so slowly I had 5 job Irl. But I really appreciate everyone who has been patient and willing to wait!

Right now, there are already 200+ people in the Data Transfer queue, so thank you so much for your patience and support.

The Dusekkar update has been delayed again because the Roblox moderation bots keep banning my old assets nonstop. Right now, I have a lot of things to take care of, including removing the old assets used by the old team member in the latest project.

I sincerely apologize for everything that has happened and for the delay. I'll do my best to get everything finished as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Me and KT also working on a second game project with much better code and an overall better foundation.

Pupi Midnight Munchies was created when I had only been learning Roblox Studio for about 2–3 months. It started as a project to help me learn how to code, and since then I've improved a lot as a developer.

That said, don't worry—I have plans to make a Pupi Midnight Munchies Recode, and I definitely won't abandon the original game.

I want players to have a better experience instead of dealing with so many bugs. Since PMM was a project where I was still experimenting and learning, some parts of the code are difficult to fix immediately. That's why rebuilding the game with a stronger foundation is the best long-term solution.

📢 The game will be closed to recover assets removed by Roblox's AI It will reopen later this month. Future characters will no longer require quests to be unlocked, only certain skins will be. A second game project is planned, taking place in an alternative universe. #PupiMidnightMunchies

The game will be closed to prepare for a major update and will be back online later this month.

At the moment, I am working on recovering all of the assets that were removed by Roblox's AI during the update process.

As an apology for this issue, the new character, Gauge, and all future characters will no longer require quests to unlock. Only certain skins will remain unlockable through quests.

Additionally, our second game project, which is an alternate universe (AU) spin-off of the main PMM storyline, is currently in development. In this AU, Junifer will be on our side, and both Larry and Cole will be playable characters.

We have some good news: KT's Account ID has finally been restored.!!!!!
However, as many of you know, KT0U3 was responsible for creating most of the game's art assets and maps. As a result, many parts of the game are currently blank or missing textures.
We are now redesigning and replacing all content that Roblox previously flagged or removed, and we'll do our best to complete it as quickly as possible. Our next announcement will definitely be an update on our progress.

P.S. Our team somehow gets flagged and banned by the AI moderation system with almost every major update.
