Paul McCoubrie @pmccoubrie.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Few snaps of tonight’s partial eclipse. We got about 92% here in the UK 400mm lens, heavily cropped, manually exposed with big stopper filter (ND1000) 170

Paul McCoubrie @pmccoubrie.bsky.social · 15/07/2026Doing my last on-call tonight. Off the radiology on-call rota after 26 years I’ve jinxed it now, haven’t I? It’s going to be a shocker. 140

Paul McCoubrie @pmccoubrie.bsky.social · 03/07/2026St Jakob’s, Ortesi, Italian Dolomites. We climbed up the 3km steep path out of town but turns out there is a bus that takes you 7/8ths of the way I lugged my big Nikon all the way but it does have very good colours 142
Paul McCoubrie @pmccoubrie.bsky.social · 29/06/2026That’s the Italian dolomites. I was there last week! That’s St Maddalena with the Puez range behind. It’s stunning 010

Paul McCoubrie @pmccoubrie.bsky.social · 08/04/2026I would try to attend an in-person course. I did a MEd and the biggest benefit was meeting and discussing issues Difficult to maintain enthusiasm for on-line/remote courses, I find. And others too - the Dundee course was always distance learning and had a 50% dropout rate 010
