This is a relatively small snapshot but the trend is concerning. Almost all of the economic growth is in AI. That's masking an overall weakness in the economy. I'm an engineer, not an economist, but the data have me concerned. This looks like another dotcom bubble.

Essar is involved. The company I used to work for was awarded a significant contract from them for process equipment. Essar went bankrupt and my former employer was stuck with millions in equipment that could not be easily sold for other projects. Somehow the Essar name lived on.
