Comparing star and willow...despite using the same pattern they came out quite different, especially in weight (star is heavier). I constructed their hats in different ways (which order i sewed the pieces in) and star's looks really polished and is easier to do :3 now i have one more to add...

Im gonna live literally right around the corner from a farm store that butchers its own chickens and sells maple syrup!! My landlord is queer, Im going to be able to garden and do all the things Ive ever wanted ;_;. Im going to be moving first two weeks of jan, but by feb Ill be settled <3 aaa!

I also have another shade of doll skin that I cut from the same pattern here, so Ill be doing another colorway of this style (I just love making dolls in 2s...). Ill probably wind up mirroring the fabrics (blue hat, starry body). I swear I will be selling my dolls some day xD I just get stuck on

more like this. I still have a bunch of little details to add, I want to make some frills for the wrists/ankles out of that same blue fabric, add some cloth 'buttons' to the front of the body made out of the starry fabric, and thats probably it for embellishments?

how they do baby dolls with hard plastic limbs/head and a soft body. But I really wanted it to be floppy and barely shaped. Its filled just a little bit with sand, enough to give it a fun feeling without sacrificing the floppiness. I like making this style of 'outfit is body' dolls, so Ill def do

This whole plush design was kind of an accident, I was practicing making various parts/testing patterns and wound up with 1 set of matching arms and 1 completed leg/foot, so I finished up 1 more leg and matched them all with this head. I realized I could combine these parts in a similar way to

Im perpetually experimenting when i sew, i didnt plan to finish this doll this way, but it worked out pretty good. Ill be adding some ruffles around the neck, wrist, and ankles. I have the hat to add, and have to embroider the face. #dollmaking #sewing

Recently adopted a vintage plush, as Im wont to do...:P gave her a little bath, replaced her hat tassel, and fixed the sleeve and leg holes since the old elastic was shot. First 2 pics are from seller.
