What’s the point of trusting people with your own body and soul when the potential outcomes are either being abused or just eventually left and forgotten? There is nothing that compares to trauma. I do not think that trauma has an antonym. And I think it says all about the world we live in.

I was at a psychologist for many sessions throughout the years and I thought that they have helped but it turns out that they didn’t really. I just had hope that life will get better. It does not get better. I just bought into that lie for the better and the worse.

The first part is true. I think it is realistic to admit that this is going to become a constant battle where I have to monitor the activity. But the second part isn’t necessarily always true. I was able to spot them before they made home in my apartment so I didn’t have to deal with an infestation.

Put filters on your ventilation holes. Apply caulk/expanding foam at any potential point of entrance (windows, balcony, entrance door, radiator pipes, etc.). Use a lighter to determine holes. Use gel bait to kill and adhesive traps to monitor activity. Also just walk with a flashlight at night.

If there is anything to say – it is possible to get rid of them. It is very scary to deal with them and there is a lot of emotional baggage that comes with dealing with them due to social stigma but one can defeat them. I had a relatively simple case but it can be done. They are stupid. You are not.

If anyone is wondering where it all went – life, as usual, has caught up with me. I had to deal with cockroaches in my apartment for the first time in my life. It was horrible. In a nutshell, the whole building got infested and, me being unprepared, they were able to get inside through ventilation.

Computer stuff, on the other hand, is much harder to solve and it really sours my mood. It’s a cat and mouse game but the cat is the whole fucking government. And to fight with the censorship, it seems I have to get into CDNs and SSL certificates and I’m really not into these things. Ugh.

It seems I’ve been able to solve the carpal tunnel problem pretty quickly by buying a trackball. I was surprised how easy and convenient it is to use honestly. Can’t recommend enough, although I’m not particularly happy about having spent money on it.

I was going to draw and post more stuff here and the moment I was going to do that my proxy VPS was blocked and I’ve spent the whole weekend trying setting up about one. When it’s not weekend I do spend most of the time straight up just working. And that gave me a carpal tunnel recently. Fantastic.
