iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

5. Done! And there you have it, now just finish off the other twists. Thank you for reading! ❤️

Image the same as the description in the caption.

4. Detailing; Now you just add details (charms, loose hair) and thicken the edges to distinguish each twist from the other.

3. Making the twist; Now we have it mapped, you can come back with the same pattern but from top to bottom, like shown:

2. Understand the direction of the twist; Based on his character, his hair is twisted clockwise, so try to follow from left to right. Then I draw one side of the twist, like mapping down where it follows, using a wiggle pattern.

1. Define the shape; I usually use a worm-shape form to separate each twist from the other, like shown in the picture below:

Quick tutorial on how I draw Ekko's hair with lineart 🫶 Following thread 🧵 #art #tutorial #arttips #artisthelp #arcane #ekko

Images demonstrating how I personally draw the hair of Ekko, a character from the Arcane Series on Netflix! Ekko is a black character with white 4c hair and he uses it in twists with charms on some.
