Oooh designing a UCS Phantom would be interesting...

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 14h

I only ever had this one, but I loved that it did more than just being a flight simulator. The whole Emperor's Hands thing for secret objectives was very intriguing, and the campaign plot was also full of twists and turns 🦾

Oh yeah the TIE Phantom rules! There are a few mocs on rebrickable I think 😅

100

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 16h

Hell yeah! TIE Fighter was so good mannn!

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

(funnily enough, the thing I'm writing atm started out as a concept for a TTRPG, but I felt it served better as a novel 🙈)

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Agreed, and it's sooo important to clearly define the 'rules' of the world (i.e. how does it differ from the primary world, and how does that impact who lives there?) and how those are established in the story.

@khalsafamily.bsky.social blue gonk inspire me to design a whole new one 😅

120

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

That's the dumbest decision I've ever seen them make 🙈

020

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Oooh like every Pokemon needs its own brick otherwise they can't even interact with one another?

120

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Oh yeah, this one doubles as a jukebox 😅

020

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

As in, you need multiple bricks? (This whole concept and the practical rollout is so poorly done)

120

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Yeah he sure was! Fata Morgana was always my favorite 😅

010

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

And thanks, now the music is in my head again 🙈

020

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Not gonna lie, that was definitely an inspiration for the Hutt lounge I'm working on 😅

110

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Oh yeah, it's like that for everyone I guess. There are a lot of games I really like, some that I love, and some I tried and just did nothing for me (looking at you, every Souls game).

010

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Oh, you can't get them separately, meaning you have to get a more expensive set that does include the smart brick? That's some bs man. I mean, I still think the smart brick concept isn't as great as it could be, but ugh.

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Gonk was the main draw for me. I love those guys 😅

020

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Cute little set with some useful parts, but nothing too special. Glad I got it on sale. Smart Brick isn't included so no idea how that works, and Luke's body can't be separated 🫠 #lego #legocommunity #afol #legoafol #legominifigures #moc #starwars #jedisurvivor #jedifallenorder #starwarsoutlaws

Yuss, I made one last week and that's one of my faves 😅 (chicken thigh strips (optional), cauliflower, chick peas, yellow onion, garlic, peanut butter, Thai Penang curry paste, limes and coconut milk. Serve with Basmati rice and top with salted peanuts and fresh koriander). Great for larger batches!

Oh dang, you were manifesting 😅

Lego doesn't actually sell the Smart Sets in the Netherlands, so imagine my surprise when spotting this one in the wild 😅 #lego #legocommunity #afol #legoafol #legominifigures #moc #starwars #jedisurvivor #jedifallenorder #starwarsoutlaws

Oh, it's nowhere near clever enough for that, but it does the trick 😅

010

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Thank you! I do always try to make it look organic but clean. I originally had more details, but Jabba's butt took up too much space 😅

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Sharing this little test build because almost no one will see it otherwise 🙈

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I was originally aiming for something more muted, but those new wedge tiles don't have a lot of colors get, and the contract actually worked really really well 😍

030

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Thanks! It took some figuring out because there was virtually no space, but I somehow solved it in my sleep 🙈

Oof that sucks. It sometimes be that way 🫠

playslashwrite @playslashwrite.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Thanks! The rug was a fun detail to add 😅 Here's a test build (pay no attention to missing parts and weird colors) with the mechanism in action. The movement is minimal, but enough to convey a fanning motion 😀

Made this Lego Hutt lounge for the casino level of my Coruscant Undercity moc. More complex than it looks - it even has a mechanism to make the Jawa look like he's fanning 🥵 #lego #legocommunity #afol #legoafol #legominifigures #moc #starwars #jedisurvivor #jedifallenorder #starwarsoutlaws #jabba
