I think the software is already pretty much there - buy and launch games on the same platform, cloud saves, import your own library, etc. Just needs a lot more users - both players and devs who sell their games there.

Already looks really awesome. Can't wait to see where this goes 🤩 Been ruminating on a concept for an FPS for a while (but more rudimentary, similar to Bionic Battler). But your game will be infinitely better. Very relieved I can drop that from my mental to do list and can focus on other things 😊

The game looks phenomenal! 🧡 Very minor gripe: Sometimes there is quite a lot going on. Is there a chance you could add an accessibility setting that color codes each actor? e. g. white outline = player / player projectiles, red outline = enemy / enemy projectiles, blue outline = item to pick up

I feel like #pixelart is much more about perseverance than about talent 😅 Usually people only post drawings they are happy with. So I wanted to share this as a reminder that art takes time and that you shouldn't get discouraged if you're not happy with the results in the first couple of minutes 😊

Thanks 🙏 The illuminated area is just a sprite that is drawn behind the background. All colors of the background palette are black. So, the sprite only shines through the first color of the palette 😊

Thanks 😊🙏 You're spot on. Because of licensing stuff, it's up to GameStop and ModRetro to decide whether there will be a digital release in the future. I'm a big fan of giving players options. So, I'd personally love there to be a digital release in the future 🤞

Not much time left to get this bundle of #gameboy homebrew games. So far I've played through: - Kero Kero Cowboy - Cosmo Knight Zion - 2021: Moon Escape - Pitchfork Each of them was fantastic. Cave Dave is also great but I haven't beaten it yet. Highly recommend this bundle. Enjoying it myself 😊

Yeah, I'm using a different method. Set all colors of the level's palette to black and put tile priority on all tiles. This way, the circle of light, which is part of the player sprite, is only visible in places that use the palette's first color.
