Yeah, Astro Bot is the big one for me. I only ever played the concept level but thought it was wonderful.

Playing Catch-up @playingcatchup.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

Yes, lots of changes early on! Happy to say that Paul has been ever-present since episode 10 (almost 10 years ago!). On VR, I’ve sadly not used mine since the launch of the PS5. I really should pick up an adaptor and play some of the games I never got around to. How about you @mwjimmy.bsky.social ?

I had a lot of fun discussing my favourite games of 2025 with Tom, and hope you enjoy listening too! There was so much variety this year that it was really difficult to whittle down from my shortlist of 15. Although some of these didn't make the podcast I highly recommend all of these!

2025 Shortlist:
Absolum
Blippo+
Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved
Katamari Damacy Rolling Live
Long Puppy
Night Striker Gear
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound
Promise Mascot Agency
Sektori
Silver Bullet
Sonic Racing: Crossworlds
Sword of the Sea
Tiny Turnip
Wheel World
