I'm working on a nice progression for the item shops. The stronger your guild, the better traders you attract and the higher quality the items they sell. e.g. Early-game traders come to sell early-game swords and shields while late game traders may sell higher-end steel gear. #indiegames #gamedev

A feature I've been working on are returning adventurers throughout your playthrough. They do things outside your guild and thus may return in different gear, with different stats, and even belong to a new faction. Clip below shows an unaffiliated adventurer change overtime: #indiegames #gamedev

At night your guild will get visitors from more nefarious factions in the valley, such as the thieves' and assassins' guilds, and various bandit groups. Your response will be up to you, but aligning with these types will alienate you from more lawful factions. #indiegames #gamedev

Supporting multiple floors and elevation was such an important detail that if I hadn't been able to make your adventurers climb up stairs, the game would not be made at all. It was crucial that players were able to create buildings of many sizes, floors, sections, bridges, etc #indiegames #gamedev

I'm working on a "population boom" system that lets the game spawn adventurer types at certain states: send out "Rangers needed" notices and more rangers spawn, sell spellbooks to get mages, etc. It's a work-in-progress, and during testing I also get to see stuff like this: #indiegames #gamedev
