Starting off #safariweek strong with a first! After 5 years of hunting this is the first time I've had this happen!

Took me over 28 hours to get this encounter btw

According to Reddit it's not permanent but wtf I was only playing for like an hour

I was grinding voltorb flip for ice beam and the ui got burned into the top screen...

I had the same problem with my pokewalker after I accidentally ran it through the washing machine lmao. I assume there's something inside it that broke but I really have no idea

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 17/04/2026

Yeah this is definitely gonna take longer than emerald lmao. Spent about 50 hours in this section and what feels like most of that was spent just looking for heracross. Emerald already had badge 5 at this point. Anyways done with section 4, onto section 5!

No way I'm also doing a white 2 oak challenge rn! Do you have any advice for the hidden grotto encounters? I've been trying to find heracross for almost a month now😭

Very excited to see so much hoenn rep in the winds and waves trailer

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 28/02/2026

Forgot to post this the other day but badge 3 is done! Another pretty quick section thanks to wild audino. Seems like this will move pretty quickly compared to emerald (until the post game...)

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

Badge 2 is finally done! This section was super short, I probably could've finished it in a few days but I took a pretty big break.

I have to learn how to make custom e reader cards. I have a really cool idea I need to make before anyone else does.

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 30/01/2026

YOOO CONGRATS!! I'm so jealous. I'm over 18k for mine now but it's good to know it's possible!

Shiny deoxys after only 1308 RAs!!!🥳🥳 Caught in a luxury ball too! This is my 3rd shiny deoxys (2nd for gen 3) but I was still super hyped to see it shine! 2026 has been kind to me so far (Deoxys forms 2/4) #shinypokemon

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

Omg I already forgot about my bingo card lol #shinypokemon

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

Really excited to finally set up for the emerald deoxys hunt I've been wanting to do for like over a year

000

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

True! I gotta get back on the grind for it

110

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

Also I just realized I never posted phase 4 of this hunt. It was another Volbeat after 14,184 encounters

000

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

First shiny of 2026!!🥳🥳 Shiny Roselia after 9,392 encounters! It finally showed up after 4 phases and 68,437😮‍💨 total encounters also holding the 5% poison barb! (Hoenn shiny living dex 29/135)

110

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 17/01/2026

And even though it's generated differently than everything else imo hunting it the way you are is the same as any other hunt

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 17/01/2026

I think it might've been this video youtu.be/ZyXQyMUs8S8?... From my understanding as long as your play time is increasing each reset, even by a few frames, you should be seeing a new jirachi every time. You can also change around the settings just in case but I'm not sure if it's necessary

I thought the battery didn't matter for jirachi specifically. I wanna remember reading it was generated based on information about your save file (things like settings and playtime)

110

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

Yeah let me know if you find anything out. I've lowkey been avoiding looking into it too much on my own because I don't wanna find out I've spent 300 hours doing it wrong 😭

110

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

I've been changing window types and saving in different places every so often which as far as I know should be showing me different jirachis but there's really no way to tell🙃 I've been coping by telling myself that double over odds really isn't that crazy at all🥲

110

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

Best of luck to you! Hopefully neither of us makes it to 20k...

010

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

I feel you I've been hunting it the same way on and off since 2020 😭 I'm so scared I've been doing something wrong somehow

120

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

At this point I'm scared of it. I don't know who I'll be once I have it

010

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 30/12/2025

2026 shiny hunting bingo card! Pretty sure this is the first time I've done one. I haven't been shiny hunting much the past couple years and I really wanna get back to grinding

110

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 30/12/2025

Forgot to post on the actual day but happy 5 year anniversary of me starting my jirachi hunt🥳🥳 I need to lock in and get it in 2026 this is getting ridiculous

020

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 26/12/2025

Shiny audino on the shinkansen!! Found this while grinding on my white 2 professor oak challenge after only 5485 encounters! Super happy I found a shiny while I'm in Japan

030

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

I haven't finished it yet but so far idk if it's worth 30. I definitely like it but it seems like it's lacking in content a little bit. It's kinda like side order tbh where the gameplay is good but the random elements lack variety

020

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

First badge done in my White 2 professor oak challenge! Took about as long as the first badge did in emerald but with significantly less pokemon thanks to gen 5's exp mechanics.

Finally after like 10 days trapped in the sewers (new mega shiny spoilers)

I've been stuck hunting litwick for like 5 days now

Already failed my first shiny in za 😞

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 12/10/2025

Shiny Volbeat after 16,298 encounters! Such a good shiny! Phase 3 for roselia Hoenn shiny living dex 28/135

010

PlayerAAAA @playeraaaa.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

I'm pretty sure it does. I remember sonikks talking about it on steam once and I know I've heard it does from a couple other people but I also don't remember who💀

(also I changed the name because I realized my other zigzagoon was already named fruithands)
