Grapes also help get rid of mouth noises when recording and they're small/clean/portable. They're great for bringing to public soundbooths! #voiceacting

Summer time means AC blasting the sound booth, recording, and having to re-AC blast it again after 30 minutes. It gets so hot in there @-@ #voiceacting

Quick tour of my sound booth! Its diy so its easy to move around when needed, perfect for a small apartment! Sadly I have yet to find a new spot for the Christmas tree 😅 #voiceacting #soundbooth #sounboothtour #diy

I genuinely love voice acting, its such a fun hobby to have! It reminds me of when I was a theater kid growing up and i honestly love being an adult thats get to play pretend again 🥹

Sometimes my bestie sends me random gifs and I cant tell if its a cry for help, a joke, or spam😭 its always a puzzle i may or may not get an answer for. Like sir what am I translating, what is the context??? 🥺

God i hate how hot sound booths get. Stepping out to get water feels amazing but the moment I have to go back in its like "Well welcome back to the Dante's inferno!"

Yaya @playaya.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I'm ordering pliers to carry in my bag when I go to the sound booth. I had someone searching the library for pliers to separate the adapter to my mic cuz I forgot to do it before I packed it up. They were so nice but I still feel bad they did that 🙃 appreciate the hell out of them though ♡

The weirdest part about voicing a character with my natural voice is i'm naturally all over the place so I constantly question if doing it right when recording 😅

Yaya @playaya.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I think today's project is just gonna be working on lines for a visual novel im in. Fun fact: Its one of the only projects where i get to use my natural voice ✨️ Would love to get to use it for more work ♡

Oh god I think my neighbors heard me. I was recording an audition when I heard a muffled "it's just the neighbor" I'm trying to reduce sound as much as possible, I swear 😭

Yaya @playaya.bsky.social · 10/09/2025

Tinkering with the mic settings is messing with me. I'm starting to think the white noise I hear is just my cheap headphones lol #voiceacting #imtired

Im going through a VOD and realizing theres been alot more lag during streams lately. Working on upgrading RAM in hopes streams aren't so laggy from now on, I think it's from multi streaming

Dude, medication is amazing. Imagine going from: constant screaming from the gnome king riding a tarantula while the turtle people slap it out with the Hat Man before crashing out in a lizard suit to holding a singular thought from beginning to end.
