🎮 First #promosky of 2026 🎮 ◽ We are a tiny game studio working on our dream FPS! ◽Altera is a military survival sandbox game. Designed from the ground for solo or co-op play! 🎮 Playtest coming February 2026!

020

ALTERA - Playtest Soon! @playaltera.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

The last few years have been very challenging for our tiny team but we are very proud of our work and we can't wait to continue working on the game in the next year.

010

ALTERA - Playtest Soon! @playaltera.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

The game is designed to be played solo and co-op first. Any pvp is just optional. Dedicated servers are just optional. We are very close to finishing the playtest version of the game and we are excited to hear what you think about it.

We don't care about concurrent player counts and we don't care if this game is going to sell just ten or ten thousand Copies. We only care about releasing a good game.

ALTERA - Playtest Soon! @playaltera.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

This is a passion project. A love letter to the FPS genre. We wanna release a game that we are proud of and a game we would play ourselves. This is not your typical fps multiplayer game.

Transphobes, homophobes, ableists, racists and toxic people are not welcomed in our community. Nor do we want any of these people to even play our game. To these kind of people we just say FUCK YOU!

ALTERA - Playtest Soon! @playaltera.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

We have worked on this game for almost 6 years now. Without funding. Without a publisher and without pressure or insane unrealistic deadlines. We are not a traditional video game studio. And most importantly: we have integrity.

ALTERA - Playtest Soon! @playaltera.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

FPS game communities in particular have the most toxic and inhuman individuals you can ever encounter in any video game. Not to mention that many of these users are also sexiest, racist, homophobic and transphobic.

ALTERA - Playtest Soon! @playaltera.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

This is not the first time we encountered toxicity regarding the game we are working on. But it reached a point where it is just annoying. A video game genre that I once loved became one that I truly hate now. Because of the behavior of people like this person. (And much worse)

Nothing beats the taste of a fresh bread roll.🥖 The firewood oven covers your troops’ basic food needs — just add flour and yeast to get it baking!🔥 And of course, you need some firewood.🪵 #Altera #Survival #IndieGame #GameDev #UE5

We're working on storage facilities. Here's the slightly updated container menu.📦 BTW, whenever you craft something on the workbench, you can automatically access resources in any storage on that base.✅ #Altera #GameDev #IndieDev #UE5

Some bonus screenshots! This is running on a RTX 4070ti at 4k resolution so framerate is not so great haha. Clearly this GPU manages this workload much better at 1080p and 1440p. Still looks very nice tho! 😍
