October's Tarot artwork: The Tower! And coming along with it in my mailing club next month: a very chicken sticker sheet!

The House Azure.

A scene inspired by Gene Wolfe's The Book of the New Sun. An ornate building with a second floor facade supported by Caryatids is standing after much snow has fallen. Deep blue motifs are all around the facade, and a strange figure in a yellow robe is seen opening the sun-blazoned door.

Thanks! Yeess same here, the first step is finishing the first season of 8 cards, and then I have to decide if I actually make a HUGE scene including all Tarot cards :D

The big picture of my Quiet City Tarot is filling up 👀 All cards are forming one big scene and I had no idea how this would look or work out, but I think it's starting to make sense!

Thomas House of Dublin exhibiting the pro-human solidarity that all of us should demonstrate.

SO FOR THE FUTURE (LITERALLY) WE'RE NOT ACCEPTING AI POSTERS OR FLYERS FOR THE PUB.

We're right next to Ireland's biggest Art College, lads. It's not a good look.

WE UNDERSTAND BANDS CAN BE SKINT BUT RELYING ON SOME EARTH KILLING APP FROM SOME PAEDO ISLAND BILLIONAIRE IS NOT THE WAY. WE GOT BY WITHOUT IT AND WE'LL GET BY AGAIN.

IF YOU'RE STUCK WE'LL HELP. (YES IT HAS BEEN USED HERE BEFORE BUT CONSIDER THIS THE START OF THE END OF IT.)

THANKS, HUMANS.

And then we would ride around the world in some kind of bullet train that needs to keep moving to keep us warm? I'd take that over 36° :D

Haha yeah I'm really bad at these very idea thumbnails, but as along as I understand what was going on in my brain, they work! :D

I'd love to make the art for an indie game some day, however it's usually pure passion projects and I've been lacking the time so far :( But who knows, I think it would be much fun!

2025 & 2026 are just cursed for commissioned work, even the gigs I think I have in the bag disappear. I still try to keep a constructive mindset about it, for example: turning declined work into fanart! Here’s what I made recently: substack.com/home/post/p-...

3 weeks from today, I'll be launching the Kickstarter campaign for OUTLAW'S APPRENTICE: BROKEN BLADE, the first graphic novel in my Appalachian-inspired swashbuckling fantasy series. I'm putting the series out in my favorite format: mass market paperback size! www.kickstarter.com/projects/sch...

Idk if I'd recommend doing 3 cons in 4 weeks, incl. a horror day at german/swiss border customs, but it was a great and intense month! Thanks everyone who stopped by one of my booths!

hey man we used AI in the production process of this game but don't worry none of it made it in the game, it was a huge waste of time and money, and we could've just looked at stock photos at the end of the day. You have to accept the future.

Oh nice! My booth is mainly about my art prints etc but I'll also have two puzzles made by then (at least I hope they will arrive in time), and my custom illustrated Poker deck :) First time going there so I'm excited to find out how the artist alley and audience are.

I was a newbie last year and learned the hard way that even for fall/winter cons, deadlines are soo early (at least the big ones). SPIEL Essen might still be open and there's winter editions of the big dutch cons (Dutch Comic Con) that should open applications soon.

Same with those AI video productions that all turn out to be way more expensive compared to hiring humans to do the job. "But it won’t be that way in 2 years bla you're all cooked" 🤡
