In a similar vein - riders must carry all their food for the stage. Water (obvs) can be handed up but not food including gels. Might see a welcome return to the ‘3 pocket jersey’

My only takeaway from about 40 years worth of watching cycle racing on TV is that whilst the rest of the world generally has pretty decent weather, the UK’s in comparison is an absolute disgrace. That’s it.
