A being on this planet, probably. I make music and art as a hobby, or just play video games. I'm a big fan of Kirby and mostly gen 5 Pokémon. 24 completed orbits about the sun so far. Mainly posting art. I’m more shy than I remembered. Oops.

Works in progress
The scene before color was added. This picture was taken from farther out, allowing one of the pillars from the background to poke in front of the large foreground pillar obstructing the right side of the drawing.A more choppy photo, zoomed out beyond the edges of the drawing. Henry, as well as some of the pillars have been colored, but the colors have not yet been smoothed out.Smoothed out colors in a brighter room.
Some pillars are colored, as well as Henry and the foreground cocoon.

What does one hope to find in a world so far beyond their own? And can it be found here… #OC #OCArt #TraditionalArt #OfFragments
Henry, a furry animal-like being who’s long since lost his colors, looking out into a vast expanse of pink pillars and structures. Out here, it seems as though his original hue shines through, with his orange fading in within his his otherwise pure white outline. He has patches of darker fur on his back, his paws, and his front legs/arms, and the base of his floating tail. His blue infinity scarf seems to be partially returning to its true hue; perhaps that is a property of this nest. It’s good confirmation that this place may be linked to the very event that stole his home away.

Henry is on all fours with his back to the viewer, standing on one of the many pillars within the massive structure. In the distance, many of these pillars begin to curve and split. Many fragments like the ones behind Henry’s scarf dot the environment, as well as smooth yet spiky cocoons made of the same pink material as the pillars.

It is uncertain if what Henry seeks is there to be found. And yet, he knows this is a place he needs to be.

Copy abilities that I love very much #Kirby #TraditionalArt
A drawing of Mirror Kirby doing its unique dash pose; a tip-toe despite Kirby not having toes and raised arms as he slides sideways across the ground. This drawing uses the Planet Robobot iteration of the Mirror ability’s hat; a two-toned hat with its coloration (or shades in this case, as I did not color this,) reversed between the left and right halves which has a hexagonal ornament at Kirby’s forehead. Kirby is followed by sparkles and hexagonal visual effects.A drawing of Plasma Kirby using a combination of the Star Allies hat and the elemental effects in its Super Star Ultra artwork. This one depicts Kirby launching a fully charged attack with forward stretched arms and a wide stance with one backward pointing foot. This drawing uses more sketch like shading, using the attack itself as a light source.

Adding to the zorua spam further; that zorua I usually draw but not how he ordinarily looks like
A mew zorua fusion floating with its front paws tucked in. Its mouth is opened in a small “o” shape, and it’s looking to the side.

The mew traits it’s taken on are the lengthy tail, hind paws that are longer than usual, the narrower eyes, and shorter ears. The eyebrow dots are also sharper in shape, pointed down. This time he has longer, billowing fur on the tuft on his head and his mane. He’s sitting now, eyes closed. There are strands of fur at the front of his mane that twist around a round object on his neck which has an asterisk-like shape within it.

They’re having a discussion about who’s going to be deemed worthy their staff first, but quietly so that The Attuned does not denounce their impertinence. #OC #OCArt #TraditionalArt #OfFragments
A group of three furry fellows behind a rock who have rat-like tails and matching markings beneath their eyes resembling a dot and a line spaced slightly apart from one another. They have pointy ears. Two of them have visible darker patterns in their fur, while the other has a sort of cloak or robe wrapped around their body. The one to nearest to the right edge of the drawing, Vanessa, has a little bow on her tail. They’re all behind a large rock.

There are tree-like organisms with a thin colorless coating which have bush like structures where leaves would go and vines that hang down which seem to bear some sort of fruit. The prior mentioned bush like structures also exist in patches across the ground, which may be from the same source.

Along the ground are some blobby… plants? On the ground. They resemble unopened flower buds, except semi-transparent and possibly quite jelly-like in texture.

Partially obscured behind a foreground tree is a sort of den. Perhaps The Attuned lives in there. Maybe they think the rock will help block the sound of their chattering? It is pointless, The Attuned knows all.

At least, that’s what they want them to think.

Henry, but with colors. The colors are his. …were his. And around him, not on him.
A drawing of Henry with his arms folded behind his back. He still has his big fluffy tail, his scarf, and his fragments (the rhombus things.)

While Henry lacks color in the drawing, there is a circle of color behind him composed of brown and an inner diamond of orange obscured by the aforementioned Henry.

Is this one of those visitors from the long forgotten land? Their jumps are quite impressive… #Kirby #TraditionalArt
A drawing of a Polof watching a Rabiroo jump. There are various other things from the Kirby series sprinkled in, as the environment is supposed to be on planet Popstar. These include star blocks, those things that stick out from the ground that I forgot the names of, and some enemies.

There exists a tiny Waddle Doo, Leafan, two Cappies (or Cappys I don’t know the plural,) some Bronto Burt, a Parasol Waddle Dee, and a butterfly that may or may not be orange (I didn’t color the picture in.)

Kirby and Elfilin make a cameo, but they’re kind of hard to see (the drawing is so small I couldn’t fit the details all that well.)

Nil, a being basically shaped like a comma with detached spherical orbs to stand with, looking up at a machine of sorts with two knobs on the side, a triangular emblem at the center of the bottom segment, multiple heat sinks, and a battery icon in the top segment.

Celestial Orb of Thoughts Personified asks “Is your schedule open today?”

Nil responds “No celestial orb of thoughts personified…”A new shot of Nil, with an annoyed expression, as they listen to the Celestial Orb of Thoughts Personified’s reply; said reply being:

Miscellaneous doodles
A rodent resembling design, with a fluffy fur coat consisting mostly of a darker shade. They have white areas along their tail, on their paws, around their neck, all over their ears, and beneath their eyes. Not entirely sure what this looks like. I was thinking bat, but it has features similar to the more cat/fox resembling designs. They have those crystals floating near the back of their neck (if I had actually made a distinguishable neck.) They have a thin, floating tail that curls at the end.

Their pattern is pretty much half the lighter shade and half the darker shade.

Them again but they have fans! #OC #OCart #TraditionalArt #OfFragments
Tashi, a bunny resembling character of mine, but she’s got two fan-like weapons. One is on her right paw, held low and to her side. This one is closed, the bits on either side combining to make a shape similar to that of a two-sided pickaxe with very short heads.

The other is held beside her face, opened to reveal a few symbols. The central symbol represents the sun, but it has two lines that point outward and spiral downward.

The fan has three spikes at its end that point outward from the slots that ones paws’ digits slide into.

It is when worlds touch that they may become whole…
A drawing incorporating the tree-like organism. Here, it acts as a dividing line between two abstracted hills. On one side stands a bipedal creature with a large round ear and a circular tail. On the other, a similar creature but with a thinner and more upright ear and tail. Their arms reach to one another, with a circle around the point at which they touch. Their bodies both have a dot which connects to the other through a line below their arms.

Behind the false tree is a giant abstracted star; their planet’s sun. Perhaps this drawing holds some sort of significance…

What a nice planet! I sure hope nothing happens to it… #TraditionalArt #OfFragments
A lightly colored drawing of a somewhat alien looking landscape. There is a tree-like organism at the center of the drawing, with branches that split and converge into a hexagonal structures. At the end of its branches, as well as its base, the organism has red bushy structures instead of leaves.

Scattered about are brighter red bushy structures on the ground, as well as organisms that look like yellow gumdrops with red petals. There are also larger organisms (but not as large as the tree-like one) that look like they’re snapped and bent like a sail in the wind. At the top of them are red paddle shapes. These in particular seem to be oriented the same way.

There is a distant rocky formation at the right end of the drawing, and a hill on the left. This location has a blue star, as well as clouds and a body of water beginning in the right portion of the foreground. The ground is coated in something orange and purple.

He’s drawn a lot more rounded than an average zorua, and two bits of his mane are sticking up beside his muzzle. He is sitting politely, though his gaze has moved off to the side.

A tiny drawing of my current front and center OC, Henry.

Look at his fluffy tail… there’s not much of it, it has to fit in the flash drive too. Next to Henry is the flash drive for scale. He stands almost as tall as the width of the plug part of it, if you count his ears in that height.

He’s showing off his run and his crouch, as well as just the typical upright stand he and his acquaintances do. Tashi, some vaguely bunny like critter with somewhat rigidly shaped ears and an infinity scarf mid sprint, perhaps either turning or accelerating greatly judging by the angle to the ground. This is a messier doodle, but I think it sells the action a bit better that way.Tashi in a controlled fall.

This sword the rabbit looking fellow holds but the blade is cut open. Wait, isn’t the blade supposed to be DOING the cutting open-? #TraditionalArt
There is a heavy ball embedded within a hollow sword.

There is a hole and a spring near the tip of the hollow section. Attached to a string thingy is a dense black sphere, which slides out from a hole the hilt to shift the weight of the blade toward the tip mid-swing via inertia. The spring helps prevent damage to the sword and/or the user’s arm from the ball slamming into the end of the blade.

I’ve spotted something in the last announcement of yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, and I simply must share it. The mark isn’t accurate, it’s just there to hide the image from people who might not have seen the direct. #spoilers #nintendo #nintedodirect #nintendodirectspoilers
This is a picture I took of a computer screen.
In the trailer for Kirby and the World Beyond, on the zoomed out shot of the area where the crack in the fake wall is, there are starmen (I’m assuming that’s the starman plural) gathering to set up a stone barricade.

This is important because starmen carry the Hi-Jump ability. Which means we now have knowledge of 6 abilities from the trailer

Weapons ready… There’s a bonus Kirby here because otherwise Henry would show up bigger than the other two critters and that’s not fair #OC #OfFragments #TraditionalArt
Henry in an almost weightless looking posture; one paw planted on the ground, another raised as if he were in free fall. He has his back gently curved inward and his tail enveloping the left of the space in front of him. Contained within the backdrop of his tail is a strange weapon with three rods protruding from its frontward face. Near the tips of said rod is a ball of plasma drawn with spiky shapes flaring out from the surface to help sell the idea of the abundance of energy being contained within the sphere. There are also two wispy “clouds” spiraling out from near the surface of the plasma ball.

His big, fluffy, furry tail is bigger today because yes.Tashi, in a battle ready stance with a widened stance, a paw held forward, and her right paw holding a sword ready to be thrust forward… possibly?

The sword has an extended cutting edge made distinct from the rest of the blade. Perhaps it is there for a similar reason the tip of the thicker part of the blade ends with a hole. Something might be up with this sword.

This is probably the most convincing perspective out of the four drawings…Vanessa standing tip toed, her head tilted up and her eyes gently narrowed in something adjacent to prayer.

She is holding up a somewhat smoothly shaped wand morphing into a bulky crescent at the end. It has three dark grey stripes along the crescent’s curve, as well as three triangular spikes floating near said stripes. There are a lot of effects added; there’s a wavy ripple around the tip of the wand, sparkles surrounding the magic wielding being, and thin vertical/diagonal strips emanating and rising from the circle forming around her.KIRBY
It’s the burning + bomb ability combo from Kirby 64.

His eyes are shut tight as he shoots miniature fireworks from his body.

Specimen from the rocky regions #OfFragments #TraditionalArt
A closeup of the upper portion of a red photosynthetic life form. It has a bowl-like structure which houses and nurtures its immature offspring.

It has two glossy petals sticking out from either side; this particular specimen’s are on the smaller side. Protruding from the mineral coated stem are two leaves pointing perpendicular to the above petals. When they grow too tall, are hit by a large enough rock, or are put under stress from heavy sandstorms, their stony stems may snap, scattering its offspring onto the ground around it.

The vast majority of them will not manage to plant themselves into the ground. The immature stage of this life form is rod shaped, with a protective cone that protects it from the elements when still attached to its parent. When detached, the cone will help shift the specimen’s weight so that its roots may connect with the ground.

As the roots grow, this cone will split, eventually forming a set of four petals. These are inevitably buried, helping the specimen balance while the roots take shape. As the petals loose their duty to support the specimen, the materials protecting them are reallocated to encasing the stem.

The stem grows upward, the very tip widening to form its signature bowl shape. This is where it’ll lay the groundwork for developing its next generation. From opposite ends this bowl, lumps will begin to grow into glossy petals.

Similar such lumps will grow out of the stem, the outer casing stripping away the glossy coating and allowing its leaves to take in unobstructed sunlight.

Henry, an OC of mine, at a difficult drawing angle.
He is sitting back, leaning on his upper paws. He is looking up toward the sky, with some sort of band/mask wrapped around his head which covers and partially obscures his eyes, like some sort of weird sunglasses adjacent blindfold.

…he needs them to look directly at his planet’s star.
He’s also wearing a necklace for the occasion; it depicts a stylized depiction of the annular eclipse he can be assumed to be watching. The string’s a bit long for him; fortunately the messier fur he has from so frequently wearing his scarf is helping to hold said string in place.

I’m so glad this is sometime before the [event] in his timeline, it really helps that I can use his shadows to more clearly build out the shape at such an angle.

Small update Finally gave her knees No clue why I chose not to do this before #OC #OfFragments #TraditionalArt
Tashi, an OC of mine, now finally has knees (I tried seeing if there was a different term but all my search results were talking about a misconception about ankles which I had no idea people thought were backward knees so I’m assuming the actual knees are still called knees for my own sanity)

She resembles some sort of bipedal bunny, standing with a widened stance. She has darker patches of fur on the distal halves of her giant ears, the spiky fur atop her head, the backs of her paws, her chest and stomach area, and from her ankles and downward. She also has a small bushy tail. She wears an infinity scarf, which partially covers the largest of the three fragment crystal things she keeps near her neck. She has her right paw on her side and her left one held out in front of her.

Did you know about infinity scarves being called that? I didn’t. I think it’s pretty neat, especially considering the “nest dimension” I recently introduced and have featured in my pinned post, and its ties to [the event].
