There is only one definition of decolonization, and you will not find it in academia. It is nothing short of expropriation of colonizers without compensation, rematriation of the land to rightful Indigenous stewards, and Indigenous cultural/population resurgence to reverse the effects of genocide.

Marxist economic analysis is undoubtedly useful, but that doesn't make marxism a panacea. Marx's bourgeois classifications(prole, lumpen, peasant) and overall european mode of thought provided a euro-brained biased social theory. His social theory reflected racist european anthropology of the time.
