honestly as much as I love Maiev's design I think the simplified/more realistic armour fits Mortred better. The scalemail and leather pants make a lot of sense for an assassin, while the pauldrons and blade add just enough impracticality to make it look more cartoony/fantasy-oriented.

Can confirm, ALWAYS have some sort of reference for your characters’ details. especially if you’re making 3d models. make that damn model sheet, it makes your workflow oh so much fucking easier.

Not to mention most heroes that *are* mostly-finished still have had multiple revisions (Wraith) and/or inherited most of their design from their Neon Prime counterparts (Seven) Both of these still have a ludicrous poly count (and Seven's skeleton has some weird dyntopo/sculpt topology) so yeah nah
