Welcome to Florida, where two death row inmates were executed and a kidnapper was shot dead in the same day. God Bless America!

Yes the Palm Beach International Airport is now President Donald J. Trump International Airport and the airport code changed from PBI to DJT.

Question for anyone with experience traveling to NYC: Is there a train station in NJ (preferably along Route 78) where I can park my vehicle for 2 nights?

Someone just asked me if I read the email they sent me over a week ago. I haven’t gotten to it yet. Has that happened to any of you?

George McGowan @planetgeorge.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

What is going to happen to the DJT airport long term? People are already refusing to use the airport. Now I’m waiting to see if flights get cut and airlines pull out.

While I’m still in Florida, I would like to go to an Inter Miami game so I can see Messi play. Their next home game is Wednesday July 22 which is 3 days after the World Cup final. Assuming Argentina make it that far, what is the likelihood Messi plays 3 days later?

I’m looking for flights to PA for Christmas and can’t find anything for under $400. Ive checked Allegiant, Breeze and Avelo. Frontier is only accepting reservations until Nov. 19. Should I wait until they release their schedule or book with another airline now?

Why is it taking UPS 3 days to get my package from the facility to my house in the next town over? I could have walked there and back and picked it up myself in less time.

000

George McGowan @planetgeorge.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

How come whenever anyone comes to the house to do work, whether it’s the landscaper, the pool guy or the garage door repairman, they feel like they have to block my car in the driveway so I can’t go anywhere?

Question for anyone who has a P.O. Box: when you order anything online, how do you know beforehand how it’s being shipped? I ordered something about a week ago that I later found out was being shipped by UPS. And I found out UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

I want to fly to New Orleans for a concert that’s on August 29. I have the Frontier Go Wild Pass. Problem is I can only book the day before to get the GW fare and I’d have a layover in Atlanta. Should I take my chances or book a direct flight on Breeze ($200) or Southwest ($300)?

ICE only went to one airport in Florida and you’ll never guess which one. Not Orlando in spite of their TSA lines. Not West Palm Beach in spite of being by Mar-a-Lago. Not Miami, because….Miami. Not even Fort Lauderdale or Tampa!! ICE was deployed to Fort Myers!!! Explain that!!

000

George McGowan @planetgeorge.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

Just what I thought would happen…ICE is detaining non-white, non-English speaking people at airports.

George McGowan @planetgeorge.bsky.social · 16/03/2026

Apparently the Orlando airport is a clusterf&$@ today. Spring break+bad weather up north=“I’ll never fly Frontier again!”
