Only 9% of girls and young women we spoke to say they feel completely safe online. This week, juries ruled that social media platforms can be held accountable for harming children. This is a good start but real change will take time to build a smarter, safer design to make the online world safer.

Last night the House of Lords voted to update an archaic law created more than 100 years ago that creates fear and confusion for women at moments when compassion is needed most. We are happy that the Lords decided to pass this law through to the next stage towards decriminalising abortion.
