Like a lot of GameCube games that eluded me for a while and I even got a signature from my GOAT, Charles Martinet because they went insane with the guest list this year. I can’t wait for day 3.

I went to my local retro game convention this year, Classic Games Fest, and although it’s not fully finished for the weekend I just wanted to post the haul for this time around. This was the first year where I went in with a lot of money and I was able to get a lot of really cool stuff.

Idk how I forgot to post about it but BULLY came out and, it’s actually really good!? It’s crazy how in the span of 48 hours, Ye went from having a bottom 3 album to a new tracklist and an LP which confirmed this album was his best album since Donda. Insane comeback, ALL THE LOVE is peak

000

Plainroky @plainroky.bsky.social · 26/03/2026

New BULLY tracklist from Ye with a No AI promise and it releases this Friday. This might be generational icl

I need y’all to know that like in the span of a month, three albums I have been waiting on for forever (DBD, Fall Off, and Baby Keem) are finally dropping. 2026 might actually be a goat year for music imo

Forgot to post about it for a bit but lowkey I think The Fall Off might be Cole’s best album. It’s just consistently got so many bars that keeps it fresh, especially for a double album.

Idk if I ever posted about it but I do YouTube as a side hobby. I do lets plays on whatever games I feel like replaying or going through blind. I’m starting my 9th LP and I have a teaser for it going up on the 30th. So if you like someone yapping for 30 mins, check it out: youtu.be/lzuQVSdC3Hc?...

I think I’ve come to the depressing realization that it may be time for me to retire from playing Ult competitively. 9/10 I come out more mad and annoyed that I was going into friendlies or a bracket and don’t learn anything from it. I had a decent run all things considered, but I think I’m done

Plainroky @plainroky.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

It was worth the years long wait, thank the lord Don’t Be Dumb is straight gas. It’s a solid 9/10 imho going off of my first listen and I can see it going up from there.

Day 365: And to round out the year, I’ll end off with one of my favorite Album closers being Mortal Man by Kendrick Lamar. The first half is a super deep and lyrical song, meanwhile the second half is a conversation between Kendrick and 2Pac, it’s perfect: youtu.be/hWPcclD3MVI?...

Day 364: Til Further Notice be Travis Scott is prob one of the best off of Utopia. It reminds me heavily of Rodeo in a way but it feels different in its own right. James Blake sounds amazing here and 21 is really good on the beat. Overall it’s really good: youtu.be/zptRsa1pqsk?...

Day 363: For being so early in his career. Rhymes Like Dimes by MF DOOM remains one of his best songs. It’s got constant bars and a really good sample on the beat. Plus, the outro being DJ Cucumber Slice messing around really makes the track: youtu.be/m2iTcUxLlkE?...

Day 362: Finish Line/Drown is one of Chance the Rapper’s best imo. The instrumental is this super beautiful jazzy beat that Chance raps over; and the second half of the song is like an interlude with all of the singers harmonizing in the background, it’s really great: youtu.be/cD0EIGNe5Nc?...

Day 361: Reminisce by Nas is a song that showcases why he might be top 5 rapper of all time all time. This song has a perfect beat to it with a beat switch where Nas is rapping on a drill beat out of nowhere, it’s a perfect song: youtu.be/Y7D8_VMs-fg?...

Day 360: Two Dragons from Yakuza 0 has to be up there as one of the most well-rounded final boss themes from the series. It’d decently long, got multiple phases to it, and a melody that’s memorable. Day 357: Psycho’s Anthem has to be one of the most chaotic songs to come from a Yakuza game. It’s a full embrace of techno and it’s perfectly fitting for the character. It manages to also have these small bits of instrumentation that adds on a lot to it: youtu.be/Vek6jfKslNM?...

Day 355: Earlier today I listened to No Idols by Domo Genesis and The Alchemist; And Prophecy is yet another song that has an Alchemist beat with a guitar on it. The beat isn’t even really anything else besides the guitar and a piano, but it’s just that good imo: youtu.be/efu1Vq5kkyA?...
