Here's an older ichinan comic I did inspired by the moon 🌕✨

Black and white comic of Nanba and Ichiban walking on a Hawaiian beach to sit and drink together. Ichiban: "Hey, Nanba." Nanba: "Mm?" Ichiban: "You ever look up at the moon and wish you could touch it?" Nanba: "I read that moon rocks and dust are super scratchy because the low gravity doesn't allow them to become smooth over time so, no. I don't want to touch the moon." Ichiban: "Ah." Nanba: "Sorry! I didn't mean to ruin your dream!" Ichiban: "Eh, it's okay."

Page two, Ichiban and Nanba have sat on the beach. Nanba pours Ichiban a drink and hands it over with a wink. Ichiban: "It looks so small, like I could just reach up and grab it." Nanba: "I know you can do almost anything, but that's a tall order, even for you. Here, the next best thing." Ichiban: "A drink?" Nanba: "With a surprise."

Three panels focusing on their hands, the ocean on the horizon, and the starry sky. Panel 1: Ichiban holds the cup. Ichiban: "I don't see anything." Panel 2: Nanba holds Ichiban's hand around the cup. Nanba: "Ichiban, look." Panel 3: Nanba tilts the cup to show the reflection of the moon inside the cup. Nanba: "The moon." Artist's note: The reflection wouldn't work like that at that angle so let's just say it's magic.

Ichiban and Nanba sit together on the beach, the starry sky becoming more prominent. Ichiban: "Hah! I've never been given the moon before! Thanks, Nanba!" Nanba: "Aren't you gonna drink it?" Ichiban: "I'll just hold it a little longer." Nanba: "Well, I'm gonna drink my moon." Ichiban: "I hope it's not super scratchy."

Ichiban and Nanba for @crusho.bsky.social, inspired by her Ichinan comic about the moon (link below! 🔽)

A drawing of Ichiban and Nanba from Like A Dragon / Infinite Wealth in their Hawaii fits. They're sitting on Waikiki beach at sunset, sharing a sweet kiss. Diamond Head is visible in the distance. The moon and stars are also visible. Ichiban is holding a glass and a second glass and bottle are stuck in the sand next to the pair.

It's funny reading a mystery written pre-2000s and having to pretend that an earpiece very obviously being used as a comms device is totally not a comms device Yes this character is *totally* wearing a hearing aid and she just touches it and mumbles info as a tic, totally not a future twist!

Arrest this man

Two panel black and white comic done in MS Paint. First panel: Hamura, naked, wet, and handcuffed, is escorted out from Sauta Goten by two police officers while Kuroiwa and Ayabe watch. Kuroiwa: "sauna goten" more like "SAUNA GOTTEM". Second panel: Kuroiwa holds up his left hand for a high five with a satisfied expression. Ayabe looks on in disgust and disbelief, not returning the high five.

Reading edgy mlm romance books of dubious quality only to agonize over the character writing and going "how would I do this???" Sometimes OC concepts just spawn from taking what I like and tinkering with the parts that I think don't work/left unaddressed

I realized just now that I think I have a slight weakness for yakuza/rgg/LAD side characters that have interesting nuggets of plot and don't get much screentime bc the writer in my brain looks at them goes "What if there was MORE" and starts spinning like a hampster wheel
