drew myself as a cute mouse girl who has harnessed her inner darkness and can cast Dark Fireballs now

my sona, Caloza, but she's dressed like Riku from Kingdom Hearts 2 and is aurafarming with the Soul Eater sword. Captioned "they put bugs in her." referencing a funny line of dialog from Re:Coded

More joke versions of scenes from Final Fantasy VIII, this time focusing on Rinoa and Squall. Much older than the Edea page — god the style's almost unrecognizable XD #ffviii #art #kontext 2019

The ballroom scene where Squall first meets Rinoa. Rinoa says with a smile, "You're the cutest guy here. I like your scar, it makes you look tough."

Squall replies, "thanks, I got it during school practice."

Rinoa awkwardly hums in response, not sure how to answer.

Squall panics and takes a big swig of his drink.

The house in Timber where Squall and the gang take refuge, shortly after the incident with Seifer and President Deling. We're joining mid-conversation.

Rinoa looks disapprovingly as Quistis looks on. "...You're mean." She then turns away and shouts, "Meany!!!"

An annoyed Quistis whispers to Zell ,"Zell, is this your boss?"

Zell replies, "uh... yeah."

Quistis continues as Squall looks on at Rinoa. "You know, I just chased Seifer halfway across the country and I still can't tell if I drew the short straw—"

Squall outbursts, "How DARE you, madam!"

Rinoa sticks up her knows, eyes clamped shut and arms folded in defiance. Squall struggles against Zell and Selphie as they attempt to restrain him—a task that is visibly much easier for Zell than Selphie.

Struggling, Squall rants, "I did not graduate the SeeD program to have my integrity so viciously impugned! Expect to hear from my superiors! This is a professional operation! I'll have you know that—"

Selphie, completely buying into the melodrama and pulling back with all her weight, interjects with "Squall! You can't kill our client! It'll only prove her right! Don't let her win!!"

Pretty wonky drawing BUT I wanted to draw Gilgamesh and Hildibrand being goofy pals Awesome assistant you have there Hildy

Hildibrand is climbing on Gilgamesh’s shoulders and showing him a direction they should head in by pointing. Gilgamesh is squinting and trying to look with his hand over his forehead to block the sun.

i've never had it in me to say no to her #ffviii #ff8 #art

a sketch comic based on an interaction between Squall and Selphie in the beginning of FF8 where she asks if he'd like to be part of the Garden Festival committee at Balamb Garden. All the text is word-by-word from the game.

Text is as follows:
1st panel: Selphie, as she walks up to Squall: "Squall! Hi! Wanna join the Garden Festival committee? You can help out whenever you have time."

2nd panel: Selphie looks at Squall with a hopeful expression: "Please?"
3rd panel: Squall stares back, yet doesn't say anything yet. He has to come up with an answer.

The next "page" of the comic, mainly driven by my personal interpretation of the interaction. In the first two smaller panels on the left, Squall looks away for a moment in thought, but then closes his eyes as the answer comes to him. The text beneath the second box reads, "(...Yeah, I guess so.)"

In the next section, he responds with: "Sure. You seem to be putting a lot of effort into this." As he says this, Selphie stares back at him in surprise, not expecting the positive response. This leads her to smiling brightly in the next bit, happy to have his help.

The last "page", depicting her expressing her joy with a fist pumped in the air with the words "Woohoo!" written in the background. Squall goes back to sipping his drink.
