-once an insanely stellar cast of writers I get super sad man. How can you write stuff like Luck of the Fryrish, The Sting, Jurassic Bark, and Lethal Inspection, and then completely forget a major plot point that changed your universes status quo? Argh

But no seriously I can pretty much tell you an episode title and plot by looking at one screen shot and I can also probably tell you what season and maybe epsiode number too, like I've ate, slept and breathed this show for its whole run time. So when I see just blatant lazy writing from what was -

Futurama has been a hyper fixation of mine for, damn near my entire life. I'm gonna make a whole freaking review of this season when it done and I guess where I stand with futurama and what it meant to me in the past and what it means to me now. I'll be making a YouTube video of this, just you wait

-no they just say oh I guess the ice cube thing is fine. WHAT DO YOU MEAN Literally no it was something that wasn't able to be done in Crimes of the Hot anymore and it wasn't done ever again because the earth was moved. Did the writers watch half of that episode, get what they needed for a -

-EPISODE and make it seem like they still need to do this ice shit. When in the shows canon it was already resolved. They make some point or joke at the end that the earth actually isn't too hot and shit and I was like oh OK are were gonna discuss how we resolved this in Crimes of the Hot but NOPE -

-they literally have shown in the last epsiode they are LITERALLY referencing that they can't do anymore because Halley's Comet (the source of the ice) is out of ice, so they moved the earth. But in this new episode they just completely ignore that, while referencing the ice shit, that's in THE SAME

- "crimes of the hot" where it was shown in that episode that they can no longer drop ice into the ocean to cool earth and they used the robots to move earth away from the sun thus cooling it. In the new Hulu episode, they say that they are still putting ice in the ocean to cool the earth which -

So I've watched the first 4 episodes of futurama season 13 and guys this is. Not it man Like put aside the fact that some of the plots and meandering and the side plots are worse, not to mention the 4th epsiode was fucking boring lol But they literally referenced an episode in episode 2, -

PokéKing @pkmnkingx.bsky.social · 07/05/2025

And I am fully aware it is because I'm more fem presenting then I'd like to be, but that just makes me more annoyed because no one, fem presenting or not, wants to be approached unprompted for advice they don't need or want 😮‍💨

PokéKing @pkmnkingx.bsky.social · 07/05/2025

I'll never understand the cis men obsession with approaching people at the gym and telling them how to do a workout completely unprompted. Your literally bench pressing like 50 pounds less then me I can assure you I don't want your advice
