You CANNOT give up on this team. Never. They have too much talent that they can play 1 good period and have a chance to win.

Kreider scored his first in a Habs jersey

I have no words for this awful performance.

This is the problem when you send guys down strictly for "asset management” reasons. You risk alienating the player and worse he asks for a trade. Fowler is the future in goal of the organization. Trade Monty and make room for him. Same goes for Reinbacher. They’re ready.

The Rocket were pretty terrible tonight, but Reino and Fowler looked good. Fowler is the only reason it wasn’t a blowout. I call that a win and all I really care about. 👍

Bhahahaha, Reinbacher was going to the bench, but the puck hit him so he turned around, but he slide towards the boards as he did and the guy who was going to jump on was sitting on the board, Reinbacher knocked him right over! 🤣

Leafs learned that Bob is too old, Raddysh is an overpaid Rielly and McKenna is only a rookie and won’t make miracles. It’s going to be a long season for them.

Our depth players bringing the offense tonight, would be nice to get a bit of insurance in the 3rd from the top 6 and close it out. We got this.

Bolduc is playing like he did in the playoffs as we all hoped he would. Him and Andy have been absolute wrecking balls and scored both goals.

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Extend Andy now between periods! Dont even wait until after the game.

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Habs look a lot more settled in and comfortable now. Put your torches away, we’re back!

Someone tell Arber to grab Mckenna and toss him into the stands.

Florida looks like they are going to be a problem this year, to go along with Tampa and Buffalo. The Atlantic is such a juggernaut.

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Oh no, the worst part of the season where every home team has a player intro and 20min ceremony. 😩

The day is finally here! It’s game day! #gohabsgo

You know what’s worse than no trade? A bad trade. Habs didn’t gain, but didn’t lose either. They have all the assets and cap space to make a move. It just won’t be Marchenko or Knies (that would be hilarious Columbus flips Knies to Montreal, but it’s not happening)

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Im confused why Engstrom stays (waiver exempt) and Reinbacher is sent down. He had a great camp. The ONLY thing I can think of is they want to see more of Engstrom in a regular season game and showcase to other teams in a trade.

Preseason is over, here are my predictions for the bubble players: Reinbacher: starting roster 3rd pair F Xhekaj: starting roster 4th line Fowler: AHL (temporarily), Monty backup Dach: waiver or trade Beck and Engstrom: AHL

010

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Dach sucks…. That’s the tweet. Cut him

260

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Monty playing like his career is on the line. Which it is

040

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I like Beck game tonight. That line as a whole is fun to watch.

040

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

That was a clean hit. So stupid to get a penalty because Nemec is soft

060

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

You know the regular season is just around the corner when Hughes, Gorton and St-Louis are giving interviews all over the place.

030

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Hmmm, this could be strategy because of veteran restriction of preseason games, but Marchenko sat out the first 2 preseason games so far. There are 2 left. That won’t help the rumour mill about Marchenko being traded sooner rather than later and maybe want to avoid injuries.

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Don’t understand why some people are on Kapanen case? He was a rookie last year that scored 22 goals. Hes struggling as 2C, but that’s normal, that’s not the right seat for him, but there isn’t anyone else. Put him in the 3C role and he’ll excel. Replace Danault next year.

290

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I don’t think there’s any debate that Reinbacher and Florian Xhekaj should be in the starting lineup sept 29th. If you’re asking me who’s coming out? Easy, Dach and Struble

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

That Ersson guy is having himself a game

020

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

2nd period was pretty average for the team in general. The only notable was Texier

000

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Texier mon amie, tu dois Tirer!

060

PKHabs @pkhabs.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

My 1st period impression. Florian and Reinbacher are NHL players and would make the Habs better if they can keep playing like this. Hard to analyze Monty game, barely any shots. Dach line was invisible.
