©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 9hThe days of film, when it cost money to press the shutter, and I'd come home from 3-4 weeks travelling around Europe with 350 pictures. I now stand outside Westminster Abbey for and hour and a half and come back with 1600. 070

©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 30/09/2026After hours patiently waiting in the hide (my large, 200yr old, solid brick, central-heated, two storey hide) I finally got what I'd been waiting for. It's a rather slippery bird bath and the poor little chap seems to have conjunctivitis, which can't help. 090

©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 29/09/2026I think this is a very good illustration of what is wrong with the world today. ©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Discovered a BBC show called Hyperdrive I hadn't heard of. If you are going to do such a blatant copy of Red Dwarf, 30 years on, you should at least be able to be as good as it. 050
©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Chestnut omelette for lunch. Chestnuts picked up from the front garden (big field) this morning and eggs from the neighbour's chickens. Living in the country has its perks. 070
©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Slightly geeky tech question: I've been buying CDs and ripping them to my PC without any problem EXCEPT one. It is one of a double CD set and the second one is fine but the first sounds like it's been recorded underwater or deliberately made to sound fuzzy.... 100

©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Bought another bargain lot of soundtrack CDs from Ebay - the best yet. All great except The Matrix Revolutions. If the soundtrack is a reflection of the film I have no wish to see the film. 161

©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 21/09/2026I've bought a couple of small collections of Film Soundtracks on CD from Ebay recently and there was some good stuff in there. I have just seen a listing for 191 of them, currently at £33 with free delivery. Really not sure if I should. 030

©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Having escaped the endless, mindless, Musk-sponsored moronic garbage that Twitter has become, my life has improved noticeably, but I do miss my occasional chats with @number10cat.bsky.social . ©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 16/09/2026The light inside my fridge has started playing up. When I open the door it starts flashing madly like a strobe in a nightclub. It's quite exciting. I should probably get out more. 130

©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I am genuinely a big fan of Morrisons supermarket, but on the very rare occasions I buy some sort of readymade or precooked meal (invariably because it is less than half price in the Magic Fridge)I never fail to be amazed and highly amused by the claim on the packaging - "Serves Two" 130

©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Just got a great bargain job lot of film and TV soundtracks from EBay, including Pulp Fiction, Blues Brothers, Draughtman's Contract, Apolalypse Now - and this gem! Not sure how often I'll actually listen to it but it is the most nostalgia you could ever fit into a CD case 070
©Phil Robinson (PjrFoto) @pjrfoto.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Listening to Tom Lehrer for the first time in ages. I'm thinking a) how much of it must have been lost on us when we were kids and b) how surprising it was that Dad let us hear most of it (admittedly there were a couple he wouldn't play until we were a bit older). 041
