Ahaha yep I figured might as well go all in! 😅 These were some of the alternatives :
A Gemini-generated image for the Observable Podcast. Actually a pretty nice image apart from the fact it says "Episode Artwork Template" in big block letters in the center.A second Gemini-generated image for the Observable Podcast, including the subtitle "Hosted by Mike Bostock". Honestly a pretty nice option too.

Aw boooo 🚮🚮 One of the reasons I've stayed using Messenger is because it's still possible to use it without going on Facebook

Technically *7 words because they include 3 spaces for redundancy

Aaaaand an NZ version too because why not 📊: observablehq.com/@pjpscriv/nz... I could only find data going back to 1962, so you don't get to see the fully baby boom. Still cool though.
A chart showing a "heatmap" of fertility rates for Aotearoa New Zealand from 1962 to 2024.

The chart has a "hotspot" of high fertitily rates (~30% at the highest) in the early 60s. Over time, this hotspot reduces and the age group with the highest fertily rates moves from the 20s towards the 30s.

📊 Recent little Observable play - creating an org chart viz using a force directed tree that is zoomable, pannable, collapsable and has a tooltip observablehq.com/@pjpscriv/or... Not displaying any interesting data atm, but certainly fun to play with!
Dataviz showing an org chart structured as a force-directed tree, with a central pink node, and many coloured nodes branching off. A tooltip hovering over one of the nodes reads "Alex Smith [Marketing], Lead Operations Lead, Singapore"

Trying out muted words and having a quite a nice time. The UX of seeing the post and _then_ being able to decide whether you want to see it is really cool. Honestly haven't felt the need to see any of them yet 😤👌
