Spent the morning searching through sketchbooks and loose drawings to get my thoughts organized for my new graphic novel I’m working on. #graphicnovel #books

A pile of drawings sorted into subjects of healing and depression, nightmares, ghosts, post homeless/temple

I found some old screentones laying around and decided to have a go with them. I have a lot of respect for the mangakas that do these manually #manga #comics

Ink drawing of a young boy surrounded by hooded faceless figures who represent the ghosts of inherited trauma. Done with indigo ink and using traditional screentones applied by hand

Working on some larger thumbnails for some painting ideas. This is done with Copic markers and a pencil brush pen and some pencils. Really just trying to tap into what’s going on inside. #art #ink #depression

One thing I love about the printmaking process is that my lack of skill causes the prince to vary. Which I love. I feel like it’s great to have unique print pull off the same block. Using different inks and what not as well. #blockprint #art #prints
