This was honestly one of my anticipated features of Star Fox 64 2026. Man, if you're going to make Star Fox 64 with the same levels and gameplay 3 times then at least have a gimmicky Star Fox Zero motion control mode to give you something new to do. And they do, kinda.

Every one of my units in Fortune's Weave has been getting at most +2 with each level up in like Res and Dex. Once this early game ends I'll have like 2 units that can barely break the skin of a Charioteer.

I'm playing Fire Emblem Engage along with Fortune's Weave and Three Houses because sales. The important thing is now I know more about Alear and their supports. I like how everyone's a little strange in Engage.

I think Fire Emblem discourse is created by people who haven't played enough Fire Emblem and people who have played a lot but enjoy a specific kind of Fire Emblem. I don't think I'll ever see eye-to-eye on what the "right" way to play FE would be.

Pikmin 4 isn't a horrible game but I think the small gameplay and control issues I had added up to make it feel less special. I think while the final game (after the updates) is good that the several year wait expectations after 3 back-to-back amazing main games didn't help.

The people who are waiting until Deltarune is finished to play it are stronger than me. I know the hype cycle can be a bit much, but when it comes to new games releases ESPECIALLY Deltarune chapter drops I can't abstain from wanting to see the fan-art ASAP.

I'm okay with No More Heroes 3 not being the best game of all time like the hype cycle led me to believe because playing killer7, Flower Sun and Rain and the Silver Case / 25th Ward leading up to it was phenomenal.

New Nintendo Direct's about what I expected. Lots of ports now that the Switch 2 can run em. A few announcements, lots of free updates and Switch 2 editions for the people who have them, some funky Nintendo gimmicks with Pikmin 4, new Kirby and Metroid. It's alright.

It's Zelda Ocarina of Time, art style, graphical fidelity are polarizing, characters are voice acted and environments adjusted I'm not super into it but I don't really hate it either. I'm sure new fans Zelda trying Ocarina for the 1st time will love it.

Okay I know I have other problems with Splatoon but I think it's really silly they finally gave Splatoon players an option to skip the newscast except during the time-sensitive gamemode. I know it'd PROBABLY has to do with them being out and about but c'mon.

I'm glad that there are so many new fans of Splatoon because everytime I come back to this game I think of the old group of friends and people I know who used to really like the game. And almost *EVERYONE I knew from the Wii U era is just tapped out on the game.

The Roaring Knight is genuinely strong, but for some reason I get similar vibes from 'those' Spies in TF2 pubs that get good backstab sprees and annihilate your team until the second someone switches to Pyro and spychecks like once.

I do think that the Star Fox 2026 did good with making the motion / mouse controls optional and easy to switch. It's weird though, because I kinda liked the aim range the Wii U Gamepad gave Zero even if it's less realistic than shooting in the direction the Arwing is flying in.

I think that I liked Star Fox Zero's motion controls more than Star Fox 2026's mouse controls even if 2026's are probably more accurate to actual fighter plane controls. Not to say that Star Fox Zero is exempt from all of its own problems, but having the range of infinity witht he Gamepad was way more fun than I expected when I played it leading up to 2026's release.

The mouse controls are fun for a new way of playing and it is interesting seeing Switch 2's usage of rumble and its own mechanics but I wouldn't say it's a game selling feature to buy Star Fox 2026 for.

Carol sketches! Because I draw Fukua and Robo-Fortune but not Painwheel as much as I should. She has a whole section on her face model sheet called "the moe" and I think that's a very important thing to consider when drawing her. #Skullgirls

Carol / Painwheel from Skullgirls mostly face sketches. It's really hard because I don't necessarily want to just draw her in the original Skullgirls style 1-to-1 but I like the original style too much to not try and drift in that direction. Or do something strange to try and offset that.

Fukua and Robo-Fortune are here too but don't pay attention to them.

The new Star Fox is good. That's probably the least surprising thing I can say about it. Like...yeah, it's about exactly what you expected. I think the multiplayer was fun and I like the challenge mode. Cutscenes are neat. But the core experience is exactly what you think it is. Good.

When Deltarune Chapter 5 came out it felt like everyone was immediately on those story moments and I had to dodge spoilers about hose left and right. Somehow the entire new awesome gameplay addition was hid from me. It is like...one of my favorite parts of Chapter 5 too.
