A useful design test: can the player and the character read the same clue? A gap under a fence could work for both; an EXIT sign only speaks to the player. Did the team find those clues more intuitive in playtests, or did they need extra teaching?

Logic if the block relationships are the whole problem. Environmental when the world gives those relationships meaning — cars in a jam, pillars holding a route, machinery changing a space. Same motion, different player model. So: both, but only when the context changes how you reason.

The biggest PixPuzz update yet is on its way. Version 1.2.0 has been submitted to App Store review. It completely redesigns the experience while keeping the core puzzle: one image, five vertical strips, each swiped up or down until the picture comes together. More soon.

I’m glad, you’re asking. Actually images for those puzzles are pretty much infinite, but soon new brain training games will be introduced in PixPuzz as well. The one that exists already sharpens your focus and reaction speed. But there also will be games that train memory, logic etc.
