🗡️ 1/31 EUPHORIA This sketch has a really interesting meaning behind it. At first glance, it might seem like Ayu doesn’t fit today’s theme at all, but there’s more to it than meets the eye #feeltober #oc #ocsky #art

I started my challenge with a rough sketch and very messy splashes of color. I believe that if going to depict feelings, that’s the only way to do it

Honestly, I don’t know how people write several books at once. To me, it sounds impossible. Even though I managed to come up with the foundations for new books while writing my main one - that was my limit How do people do it?…

I’m in a particular mood to talk about Ayu and Ismu I’ve figured out the right way to briefly describe their dynamic: a fortune teller hiding her true self behind a thousand masks/the fortune teller's assistant, who knows her true identity

Lu knows how to swim (and constantly finds a moment to get into the river and hunt for ducks and fish) Weygil doesn't know how to swim (and Lu often tried to get her to swim with her; she even succeeded once, but Wey stumbled over a rock and got scared🌚) #wfarp

Lu prefers the countryside or even the forest, as she is much more accustomed to such quiet places (after all, she lived as a fox for about 200 years) Weygil too, she feels much calmer in places like this, as she fears being exposed #wfarp

✧ 𝖕𝖎𝖝𝖑𝖋𝖚𝖘𝖘 ✧ @pixlfuss.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

By the way, this is part of a scene from the book where Lu goes to see Ismu to talk after a drunken kiss with Weygil (Wey had run off after the kiss, and Lu was afraid she’d ruined their friendship)

I especially like how Wey usually avoids unnecessary physical contact with others (especially Lu) But in this chapter, after a long period of estrangement, she allows herself to touch her friend more, even when it is physically difficult for her to lift her arm and move her scar-constricted fingers

✧ 𝖕𝖎𝖝𝖑𝖋𝖚𝖘𝖘 ✧ @pixlfuss.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I’d like to briefly discuss how I chose the topics for the challenge There are no themes of ordinary love or infatuation here, because that struck me as too easy (and was already a frequent theme in my work)

110

✧ 𝖕𝖎𝖝𝖑𝖋𝖚𝖘𝖘 ✧ @pixlfuss.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Although I’m the author of the book, I’m watching the development of the relationship between Wey and Lu with great curiosity

In this regard, Weygil is very guarded and cautious; she opens up to almost no one and keeps her distance Lu quickly won Weygil’s trust simply because she saved her from being possessed and turned out to be a wild girl without a home and a past, lol #wfarp
