Same, Futaba. Same. Though, which one is the angel and which is the devil?

Screenshot from Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X). They focus is on Futaba and Wonder (Protagonist) who are sitting in the center Leblanc booth. Futaba is in her winter outfit. Her portrait and dialogue bubble is overlaid. She is making a stern expression with her eyebrows narrowed. Her dialogue reads “The angel and devil inside me are fighting about if I should be more productive in my free time…!” In the booth behind them, Ann and Makoto are sitting across from each other. Ryuji and Ren (Joker) are in the Leblanc kitchen with their backs to the camera. All Shujin students are in their winter uniforms.

Xmas Post Facto - Chapter 57 archiveofourown.org/works/620529... Eight years after P5, Makoto and Ren start dating. They try to navigate their early relationship as normal adults, unaware of some loose ends from their days as Phantom Thieves… From chapter 1: archiveofourown.org/works/62052994

Screen capture from Persona 5 Royal showing the protagonist accessing his phone on March 14th (White Day) in game. He has brought up a group chat from January 1st where Ann shared a photograph of her, Makoto, Futaba, and Haru in kimono at the Meiji Shrine. Ryuji responds with "Huh? When'd you take this?" and Makoto with "It was before we met up with you uguys. We all bumped into each" (and the rest is cut off by the bottom of the screen). In the upper right, there is a quest: "Buy a gift at the flower shop." The image has been annotated with a floating box that says "Just casually accessing messages from the other reality in the middle of March."

...and now engineering going out on a Queen/Joker pair ❤️.

Screenshot from Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) showing a game of Tycoon. The player has only two cards left, which they have selected to play: the special queen of spades with the phantom thief Queen (Makoto Niijima) and a Joker card. The opponents are Futaba, Ryuji, and Ann. They are Rich, Poor, and Beggar respectively with 14, 4, and 10 cards remaining.

Just me engineering a Revolution of Queens & Jokers in Tycoon. #P5X (I suppose next time I should try to get the custom Queen card as one of them.)

Screenshot from Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) showing a hand with two Queens and two Jokers selected. The opposing players are Yusuke with 5 cards left (Rich, somehow), Ann with 12 cards left (Poor), and Futaba with 4 cards left (Beggar).

I like how Makoto's skirt flairs in all directions at the companio's Tycoon table. There's also something homey to me about how Makoto and Joker are sitting next to each other, largely relaxed and waiting to go. Meanwhile, Lufel and Ashiya are still pondering their next moves. #P5X

Screenshot from Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) showing four thieves sitting around a table in the Companio space, playing Tycoon. Makoto is in the lower right, Joker in the lower left, Lufel in the upper left, and Ashiya in the upper right. Makoto's Shujin winter outfit skirt flairs out in all directions since she is seated on a cylindrical stool. Lufel and Ashiya both have their hands on their chins while Makoto and Joker appear more ready with their next play.

It's a real worry that Shibuya is somehow not popular enough. #P5X

Screenshot from Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) showing the protagonist (Wonder) kneeling in front of Runa Dogenzaka at their usual meeting spot near the Buchiko statue in Shibuya Station Square. Runa is squatting with her arms wrapped around her knees. Her portrait is distressed and her word bubble says "If things keep going like this, there's no way we can attract people to Shibuya. Even the children will stop coming!"

Ren liked the gift. He took the tissue wrapping and clipped it into the journal he's always carrying. We considered going to the Metaverse, just in case, but decided to take it easy since I've had such a busy 24 hours. Instead we snuggled in bed, watching one of my favorite movies on his phone.

Haru helped me personalize the wrapping with the materials we bought for last night. Starting with black tissue paper, I made composite pawprint hearts in shades of red/pink and white/gray. I accidentally made some pawprint trails. Haru convinced me to use those sheets, saying they were cute.

Ann took me for last-minute chocolate shopping this morning. I don't have much money on my own so Sis grudgingly donated when I explained. I went with something modest: cooking chocolate he can use in curry. Ann bought a lot of fancy ones. When asked who it was for, she said herself.

Boss was going to help us make chocolate tonight but then Futaba showed up in the attic today wearing a hockey mask and chasing me around the room with a fake knife. In all the chaos I accidentally tripped up Haru and she ended up knocking the double boiler onto the floor.

The shadow who gives the Hero's Shield in Metro of Desire is now dancing. I don't think he was before. I guess when they dropped the dancing one with Akihabara, he changes too. Must be Wonder's evolving cognition. #P5X

Screenshot from Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) from one platform in the Metro of Desire. This is a safe platform, well-lit with safety gates and no Mementos veins. Wonder is standing just outside the subway in his Velvet Room outfit. He is looking at a shadow that appears as a stout man in a blue flannel over a T-shirt and jeans. He is surrounded by black smoke as he is a shadow. He has one arm fully raised and pointing to the sky, his other half-bent, pointing in the same direction.

Seems like the right time to post this. Glad I got to see them. I know the poses differ photo to photo because mannequins shift in time and gravity or are moved to keep them out of reach, but I like to think the staff sometimes play with them or maybe they come to life at night.
