O'Hare wheelchair assistance asked why I "didn't call sooner" or "signal someone" when I was left for 20 minutes after my flight's gate got changed I had the desk call them three times, and AA staff said there was nothing they could do if the flight departed before I got there #disabled

Also that mindset is what makes you into an annoying PM that can't participate in a code review or answer questions about their project, because hey guess what, learning about algorithms helps you spot shitty and inefficient code and how to fix it

There's plenty of ways to make yourself more "marketable" that don't involve college. If that's your only goal then that's fine, but don't just go to college because you want to get paid, go because it's an opportunity to grow who you are and learn things you never would've thought about

I loved my time in college, and while I agree that a degree is helpful in finding a job, it's not why I went If I had free space in my schedule, I filled it with interesting courses unrelated to my major Because learning is fun, not because I thought it would get me in the C suite
