One of my favourite things to do in The Sims 4 is to make movie sets. This Parisian neighbourhood is my latest and exists within a 64x64 soundstage I built in San Sequoia. Even the sky is fake. It’s a wallpaper. I’m going to make my actor Sim shoot a “French” TV series here…. 🎬🎞️

I don’t think Adventure Awaits will have hotels—if it did, they’d have put it front and centre. I think it’ll be a world full of vacation rentals. It’s a system they already have. The focus is clearly on the “adventures” aspect. Oh well! Hopefully we get hotels as a game pack one day.

I think my main concern with Enchanted by Nature is that the CAS, world and gameplay looks so hollow. It reminds me of early EPs where clothing and world design had very little real life inspiration. Like where is this world supposed to be?

It’s interesting that they’re dropping the “4” from the pack titles. So now it’s just “The Sims Jungle Adventure” or “The Sims Snowy Escape” I believe this is the biggest hint that the game is here to stay and there won’t be a traditional “Sims 5” release. 🥲

Okay my two hours are up! Spent the two hours making homes for my ‘9-1-1 sims’ in Del Sol Valley. The house on the left is for Athena & Bobby and the bungalow in the middle is for Maddy & Chimney. Once the For Rent corruption issue is fixed I’ll make it into a residential rental lot… 😮‍💨

Waitttttt…. I forgot I also built a Target for Nordhaven. Here Nordhaven’s residents can purchase groceries and home goods, order a coffee from the in-store Rise&Grind Coffee Bar, buy clothes and shop the latest technology. It’s the Target Corporation’s first store in Sim Europe.

Also working on three other businesses for Nordhaven…. The first is a Rise&Grind Coffee House. In my game the parent company of Rise&Grind bought Koffieboon from the Loden family and turned it into one of their generic, average-at-best coffee shops. Nordhaven sims are not pleased with the change!
