I do not understand why tv apps aren't connected to their phone counterparts. Like why does YouTube use a QR code to a website to link my account? Now I have to log into the website. Why not let me scan the code with the app already on my phone? Or let me enter the code in the app?

Gas in Texas has been under $3 all year. Same a last year iirc. Mostly between 2.50 and 3. My parents just reported around $2.15 in southern CO. $1.99 is still doubtful but $3+ certainly isn't the lowest

It's a performative dog-whistle. The point is to make it more difficult to change the law in the future. Something that red states like to do now. Texas also isn't unique in this. There's 15 other states that already have amendments to their state constitutions and 2 or 3 more voting on it next year
