The binary is illusional or maybe delusional.

Variance shifts across the plane like plate tectonics Trembling and caressing the surface.

Binary choices like M or F are supposed to be fact!

“Allowed” discredits the supposed duality, by choosing to ignore Everything else.

It is not that it does not exist but that it is not proper and that is forbidden,

RIGHT,

Well tell that to those who are told to take comfort in the safety of the binary

I actually quote this in a upcoming poem I'm working on. Idk when it will be finished, it's called "When All My Friends Flee" about what it's like to see my entire community leaving en masse. I open social media every other day only to see another person has moved or is leaving. Almost too painful.

I wish I could hold you tight

I wish I could be there,

Be gentle caressing and cuddling you

Brushing your hair on hard days

Playing your favorite movies and games

Making you food and drinks

Mending your clothes

Bandaging the wounds

I miss you

And it hurts

It hurts to be pushed away,

Just let me in.

Let me be there for you.

You want to be the villain so bad

But I don't know if it's actually in you

Or if you are just lost

Spinning out

A feral animal in need of help

bearing its teeth and snapping at flesh

Until the familiar metallic taste floods your sense

Blood pouring, trickling down your jaw

Did it help?

Did it make you feel better to break skin?

Or are you still stuck in limbo of emotions?

Why am I the one who has to be the bigger person?

Why can't you be the ally you claim to be?

Why am I the only one who's trying?

My nails stuck digging into your skin, brain disconnected from body
desperate to hold on for just a little longer

It hurts

Now we are both bleeding

I wish it didn't have to be like this
