I think I have, in fact, found details to smooth out… (torso, shoulders especially, legs) not sure about smoothing arm details considering that’s where the shield goes but keeping the panels there as seperate parts (also smoothed) should be fine

a white, triangular humanoid mecha from the “Hathaway’s Flash” movies called the Xi Gundam. It is mostly white, with orange, blue, yellow, and red details.

A sketchy drawing of a white mecha called “Xi Gundam” from the novels “Hathaway’s Flash”. Compared to the film version before, some details are simplified.

I’m actually thinking of painting my kitchen more like the G Generation redesign where it has more blue on the torso

A model kit of the “Xi Gundam” from the Hathaway’s Flash novels, with blue torso details adapted from the G Generation redesign for the games. This is more blue than the current film version, which is mostly white like the black and white novel illustrations

sausage in a regular ol' slice of bread, with onion (optional), and sauce (tomato aka. "ketchup", barbecue, optionally mustard)

A person holding a "sausage sizzle" in their hand outside a Bunnings Warehouse hardware store. The sizzle has a sausage covered in tomato sauce, sitting on onions, and held in a slice of white bread with a paper napkin used to hold it all.

battletech fans watching and seeing the Ostall (locust)

Two shitty scribbles of dudes with beards on a white background. Both have a fucking awful gaping mouth and unkempt beards. One is closer and has glasses on, the other is pointing at something in the back. This is also known as the Pointing Wojaks meme.

got it, tall shoulder robot coming up

Painting of the Ideon from the 1980 TV series Space Runaway Ideon. Artist unknown. It depicts a tall, red robot with white arm gauntlets, black hands and kneepads and a white head that is shown glowing. It is in a ruined cityscape with cracks in the glass dome above, showing outer space.

considering how long the two genres lived happily together looking at PC game history through the 90s and a bit into the 2000s, fair enough

Two panels from a Team Fortress 2 comic showing the RED Demoman with a blank expression and pointing towards someone, before the next panel shows him taking a swig of booze and saying "aye, fair enough".
He is wearing a red baggy uniform with white forearm sleeves, and a brown explosive ordinance disposal vest, and yellow/black grenades. He's got black skin, a single eye with an eyepatch, a beanie, and facial hair

*extremely loud incorrect buzzer*

the ending card for the film Gundam F91. It shows the titular mobile suit overlooking Cecily Fairchild and Seabook Arno's embrace, as an escape pod with a white flag is in the distance behind them. Looming over them all is the moon. In a cyan font, the English phrase "THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING." in cursive, fancy font is written. This sentence is ironic, as no followup series for this film was made aside from the Gundam Crossbone manga, which is a sequel set a decade later.

outright shitty abusive dad talk here, he can get turbo fucked

Iron Mask, among the worst dads in the Universal Century, in his purple and black robes and iron... mask tells his ex "If it weren't for this mask, I may have just beaten you to death."

the Federation really has stopped giving a shit huh

A black and white TV view of a man in a Hawaiian shirt being interviewed. He's telling a reporter "It's like two drunks in a brawl. We'll wait until it quiets down".

Note that this man is implied to be a high ranking Federation officer, not caring about the conflict occurring as he speaks!

"they took the kids" - Iron Mask, UC 0123

The masked man Carazzo Ronah (Iron Mask) in his purple-black uniform and... iron mask stands and looks in front of him, the Moon illuminated behind him. Captions read "I'm a pathetic man who lost his wife to that man, Theo."

this makes him the most divorced man in the Universal Century

flora and fauna on earth, children of a family, a baby being born, and a woman on her deathbed, with one collective will amplified as a miracle: "I want to live".

Elephants somewhere on Earth in savannah, with the glowing aurora of the split asteroid Axis in the sky above.

Two blond haired children (a boy and a girl) look out a window of a house into the sky. This is possibly meant to resemble young Artesia and Casval (Sayla Mass and Char Aznable)!

A lone cottage in the woods. Not present is the audio, which has a young baby crying and gasping for air, being born. Captions on the screen show the following:

Amuro Ray: Toru Furuya
Char Aznable: Shūichi Ikeda

An old woman in an elegantly furnished room lying in bed, looking sickly and frail. She's taking one last peek out the window, revealing the glowing halves of the asteroid Axis.

massive retroactive foreshadowing for the way Hathaway is in the Hathaway's Flash novels/movies things would have been MASSIVELY different if Mirai sent up Cheimin first instead of Hathaway, but she couldn't have possibly known what would happen with her decision at the time

Amuro Ray is in a white "normal suit" (IVA pressure suit) looking down on an off-screen Hathaway Noa in a ship's rec room. He's telling him "With an attitude like that, you'll be met with death yourself."

(scene is at 1:08:07 in the film)

the fact this takes him the ENTIRE MOVIE to figure out is real sad

Char Aznable in a coat looks out of a ship's porthole into space, before turning to his left and saying "why were you drawn to me?". This is directed at an off-screen Quess Paraya, who is floating around in the cabin.

(scene is at 41:56 in the film)

QUESS GET AWAY FROM HIM also I think something vaguely fatherly in Char actually does kick in subconsciously (like with Mineva), but he's too far into his nihilistic "fuck the earth, we need all of mankind in space" spiral to actually lean into it again...

First person shot from Quess' perspective with her holding a gun, formerly pointing at Amuro Ray (man in the blue suit in the background), while Char Aznable (blonde man in yellow suit) in the foreground holds her gun up, and asks her "shall we go?". He has an oddly kind look on his face, which is rare in this film.

(Scene is at 37:27 in the movie.)

love the lighting in this scene as well

A scene from Char's Counterattack showing Amuro Ray (brown, short haired man in a blue uniform) floating in a pink, dreamy space-like void with white "comets" flying by.

they were hueg (seen one in person at the port recently)

Demotivational poster type meme with the text "XBOX Yeah, It's that big". In the inset image is a shipping vessel humorously edited to have two gigantic Xbox (original) consoles on the main deck, suggesting in a comical way how big the original Xbox console was.

More beefcakes too like the L Gaim Mk 2

The L Gaim Mk 2 from Heavy Metal L Gaim. It is a grey giant robot with orange and black highlights, and in its right hand is a long buster cannon in grey. What little of the inner frame that is visible is coloured brown, such as the feet, hands, knees, and elbows.

makes me imagine a vast, industrial material harvesting platform that is roughly akin to the Emperor Sea Striders from the novel Expedition/TV adaptation Alien Planet, using the mechanism to harvest some gigantic surface resource rather than ingesting a giant amoeba sea as food.

A painting of colossal, bipedal alien life forms called Emperor Sea Striders. They walk upon a vast, purple-ish jelly mat of microscopic lifeforms at night on the alien world Darwin IV. One titanic being is in the foreground, the other is mid-step in the background. Emperor Sea Striders have oily black skin, colossal feet, a massive solid tail, and a trunk-like torso with one gigantic orange glowing eye on each site, and an impressively large hook-like upper structure. They are surrounded by the flying Skewers, which are large black liquivoric (as in, digest their prey externally before ingesting the resulting liquid) flying predators that have biological jet engines to help them fly.
