Experimented a lot this Artfight, and I'm really happy with how everything turned out. Hope you guys had a lot of fun this year, too. Here's a summary of my attacks, but I'll probably keep going through my bookmarks… so surprise art gifts might happen! _______ #teamtragedy #artfight2026 #artfight

I’m just now learning that they increased the amount of images you upload from 4 to 10! Also, love all of this here!

I love how they expanded on the story in this game.

Whoa, I like your design take on a “full-bodied” Andross! Bro is all big and bulky, like a common ape should!

Reminds me of that one Paper Mario 64 commercial!

Avian's white wings didn't look all that visible next to a white backgrond, so here is a version of the sheet with a grey background, to visibly see his wings better. I also outlined his wings to be a light blue color.

‘Bout to work on a model sheet for Avian next. Here is a WIP of him next to Velmont for height comparison. (He doesn’t have his wings yet, but don’t worry 😉) #avianthefairy #fairy #velmontthevampire #vampire #PMXP #WIP #modelsheet

I love how you animated their shadows in 2D! I love that detail! Also, this is hilarious! Love the exaggerated expressions on Bubsy and crew!

The new redesign I gave to Velmont is a pretty major glowup compared to my first design of him. He looks so much better now! #vampire #velmont #oc #PMXP

Here are the uncolored versions of Vex's model sheets.

Other minor changes too, like making his fingers clawed through his gloves, and removing the coat’s tail and the belt buckle on his boots. Wanted to simply his design slightly while still giving off a defining silhouette.

PixelMarioXP @pixelmarioxp.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

Since I loved how my model sheet for Vex has turned out, I decided to make one for Velmont as well! He was given a slight touchup to his previous design, giving him broader shoulders. Here is one with his cloak, and one without his cloak. #vampire #velmontthevampire #PMXP #modelsheet #oc #ocart

Like how Avian has a small companion in the form of Amber, Velmont has a small companion too, in the form of Vex! Except while Avian and Amber are best friends, Vex is just under Velmont’s rule.

Hello ya! I present to you a brand new character concept I have sketched up: Vex The Imp! He is a spellcasting imp mage and Velmont’s assistant/right-hand lackey. Like his name, he is a mischievous, troublesome prankster with his magic. #imp #oc #PMXP #characterart #vextheimp #avianthrfairy #sketch

Thanks Nintendo for letting me experience DK64 for the first time ever! I had a blast playing it! It had its moments (like the stupid Beaver Bother minigames), but damn it was it the most fun I had with a game in a while! Even 101% it and everything. Took me 3 days. #nintendo #donkeykong64 #nso
