It still is lol. Consoles clearly aren’t going to be the future soon. Going to PC now 😂 seems like they stay winning over there.

After announcing a 50% increase on Game Pass Ultimate, bringing the top tier of the service to $29.99 a month, the cancelation page on Xbox's website crashed when it was flooded with traffic. For more on the price increases: bit.ly/3WipmM1

I’m definitely not paying for it anymore. The only time I see it working is if 2 or 3 games come out in that month and you only pay $30. With the current games being underwhelming, I’m now very selective and waiting for sales. GTA 6 is the only game I buying in 2026 lol

I think they’ll probably use emulation for back compat. If they get it to work good on pc then that might just be the best we can get but I’m here for it!

Pixellenium 👾 @pixellenium.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

What’s fascinating is that You could essentially get the Xbox handheld and play the PS5/6 PC releases on their from steam lol which is wild to say unless Sony actually try and block that

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen confirmation from those who got to test it confirmed steam GOG and epic storefronts will be on the device. I guess we won’t really know until later this year when they give more details and price

I see many People complaining about Outerworlds 2 being $80 but you can just sub to GP play for it that month then cancel if you want. That’s going to be the choice now. And you don’t need a console to play it. I don’t like that its $80 but you have options.

000

Pixellenium 👾 @pixellenium.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

I love the value gamepass has. I sub for the month(s) when the big games come out. If I feel like it’s worth playing again I’ll buy when they go on sale for $20 & under. I rarely replay games now. I want the new handheld so I prob won’t buy games for a while. Most games to me aren’t worth $60-90

Pixellenium 👾 @pixellenium.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

More people play it and test it out than actually wanting to buying it. I’m curious to see the numbers of play vs buy. There are many games that probably would have failed without the exposure on gamepass.

Pixellenium 👾 @pixellenium.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

I disagree in a way because those are completely optional services. You can buy the game if you really want it. With the economy right now, one wants to spend a fortune on a game (especially when a lot of these are buggy or broken at launch). The service put more eyes on it then without it

Pixellenium 👾 @pixellenium.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

You can even play PS AAA games when they release on PC lol

Pixellenium 👾 @pixellenium.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

I was hoping so too but Sony loves that 1 year hidden exclusivity agreements that they can never comment on.
