Video's a bit long but it's a back swipe.

Ah for Samsung A52 gesturing from leftmost to right also triggers Back too. It's how they designed the gesture for it. It doesn't happen as often from right to left but it does happen from time to time. I think it's a general override of the hardware instead of being from the browser itself.

I opened it as normally as I could. No other tabs, just typed your website and clicked on the top result, started a new game, and immediately recreated it with my first card swipe.

If it's any consolation, the top deck swipe thing I mentioned last post seems to be a fluke but I managed to recreate the rightmost swipe. Hope you manage to recreate it. If not, it may just be my phone or something with it being old. 🤣

Tried recording gameplay that records gesturrs as well so you have more insights. I'm using a Samsung A52.

About more than a month after this, I found myself listening to Boys Like Girls's entire discography (Boys Like Girls, Love Drunk, Crazy World, and SUNDAY AT FOXWOODS). You could hear the band evolve from one album to another—each a time capsule—and honestly, I'm all for it.

My concept for Thalanir stemmed from two ideas: I want an elf with a beard, and I want his eventual full power manifesting as an astral presence and not just an extension of the body (i.e., JoJo stand). I'm thinking of tiering out Thalanir to Tier 4; it's been too long since I first played him.

Early outfit concept was him in billowy clothing, reminiscent of Chinese martial artists in Wuxia films. It then evolved into outsider in plain clothes and an then an edgier, man of the earth kind of guy. He used to wield Harengon's Freedom, which I gave to another character of mine, Lilac.

I started reminsicing and found myself redesigning one of my earliest #DnD characters in #HeroForge. My first D&D character in Adventurers League was a "high" Wood Elf named Thalanir. Thalanir is a hermit, as I was. His concept is based on my first D&D character's father of the same name.

Hands down, #Taskmaster Series 20 might be the best series in its 10-year run so far. A lot of high-energy banter, strong competition, and a lot of iconic tasks all around. I know some people are probably going to be miffed at how it ended, but luck's a factor as well. Congrats to the winner!

The music video was beautifully animated by Australian animators Ari Gibson and Jason Pamment in 2011. Eventually, Gibson created the critically acclaimed Hollow Knight series (as part of Team Cherry) and Pamment created the award-winning graphic novel Ember and the Island of Lost Creatures.

Tears dropped again. The way that the music video recontextualizes the song into an coming-of-age story of a wild child "adopted" by a herd of magical beasts and having said herd silently accept the child has to grow with humans is so beautiful and tragic in a loss of innocence kind of way.

The first time I listened to Bronte, the moment it clicked, tears dropped. It's a song about loss. It's seeing someone you love at their last moments—in this instance, a pet. Gotye wrote and named the song after Bronte, the late pet of his close family friend. I then watched the music video.

Honestly, having grown in an era of animation where anything goes made me "resistant" or "desensitized" in a sense. It has, however, made me look past certain art styles that aren't considered "the norm" though. ... except for dance sequences. I want them fully animated, not mixed with 3D models.

I can't really speak thoroughly about this topic as I'm not a professional graphic designer or visual artist, but it's stunning how artists can create such artwork that encapsulates what an album's about with such a finite canvas to work on.

I like album arts. I think album arts are probably some of the most interestingly made common art today simply because it can be a way to show the thesis of an artist's work (i.e., a picture is worth a thousand words), it can be a marketing move, or both.
