Forced anonymity isn't freedom, it's just a different kind of control. PIVX's SHIELD lets YOU decide, transaction by transaction, what stays private. Radical idea: privacy should be a choice, not a mandate from your blockchain.

Unpopular opinion: most "privacy coins" aren't cypherpunk projects anymore. They dropped their pants to VC-backed companies wearing a cypherpunk aesthetic. PIVX has no ICO, no VC round, no foundation CEO. Just a DAO. That's the real cypherpunk ethos, alive. Since 2016. Change my mind.

I had a chat with LUMO AI yesterday, about the degrading dedication to the cypherpunk values, that once led to the creation of Bitcoin and later Zcash. Today, the crypto space has mostly been captured ny venture capitalists and greed. But one coin still sticks to those values: PIVX 💜
Screenshot about LUMO AI's honest assessment that PIVX is the best-documented case for maintaining the cypherpunk values today.

Let me remind you all about Vector, the nostr-based secure and anonymous messenger app, developed by the PIVX team. vectorapp.io

Zcash users aren't happy campers right now. #crypto

Surprise, they've become exit liquidity for the Zcash venture capitalists. Zcash like Bitcoin has become unfaithful to the original cypherpunk values. There's only one coin left that's truly cypherpunk and that's PIVX.

Zcash is a corporate VC trap and PIVX is the cypherpunk PoS alternative.

PIVX is a really interesting play. Risky, but -let's be honest- with a much better upside chance than downside risk. Maybe for those who want to take some of your profits from Zcash and invest into the same technology, but without the venture capitalists. Not financial advice. Screenshot from X.

Privacy isn't dead. PIVX isn't dead, either 💜 Far from it.

The cypherpunks wanted money with no masters: no trusted third parties, no capture, no gatekeepers. Bitcoin got institutionalized. Zcash has a corporate board. Monero's chained to PoW's energy politics. Who's actually still building what the manifesto asked for? PIVX is.

There's a third option nobody talks about: PIVX. Active since 2016, zk-SNARK shielded transactions, Proof-of-Stake, not mining pools. Masternode-governed, not boardroom-governed. Fees burned, not extracted. Micro-cap, unmarketed, and maybe the closest thing left to the original cypherpunk ethos.

This sentence in Michael Saylor's pinned X post says it all. Bitcoin is not the people's money anymore. Time to look for alternatives.

Zcash has been taken over and has abandoned the cypherpunk values completely

You lock your bathroom door. You don't show strangers your bank balance. You close the blinds at night. None of that means you're hiding something. It means you have boundaries. Financial privacy is the same idea, just applied to money. That's it. That's the whole argument.

Regarding Flock cameras, technology should empower, not compromise, our right to privacy. We can't accept that they take away our right to privacy.

This guy get's it (screenshot from X). Just imagine being able to buy one of the most advanced and oldest privacy coins out there, to about the same price it was at 10 years ago, but with 10 years of experience, development and community structure. Freaking insane. $PIVX
