Always Something There To Remind Me Well wishes to Dionne Warwick ❤️

Great man! Great musician. Had a lot of fun making his acquaintance in Nice at the Jazz Festival. Very quiet but full of stories and wisdom . Did not suffer fools or Parisians! Kind and very funny. And then he started to play and completely kicked a hole in the sky. Bless.

Ernie is my man! Soulful, amazing and underrated. A huge influence for me. As are The Isley Brothers. They’ve been here from the start of Rock & Roll and still going. So funky, unique and criminally overlooked. That said, never read lists!

I had this song on a compilation, I love this! The groove, the guitar, the song, I dig everything about it. Never found any albums by him in the crates though.

About to hit the road. We’ve been playing a lot of acoustic gigs lately, which is cool but I’m feeling energized today after playing electric last night and letting my inner Ernie Isley and Elmore James out! 🎸🎸🎸

An old K&B hurricane tracking chart. These were fun for us kids, back in the day. As fun as it gets to track impending doom, anyway. 😆
